Y’all really be trippin as usual. The new Weeknd single is amazing. Now we all know that his soundtrack songs have only been hits twice and that’s it, so there’s a risk that this may not catch on. But then again its the soundtrack to his own show so it could break the curse too who knows.

I think besides Blinding Lights, Die For You and a couple songs he was featured on such as Hurricane and Creepin, he’s not particularly huge on AM. Maybe some songs from Starboy when it initially dropped also did well but that’s about it.

"Alone" managed 2 million streams by 4 pm PT today on Spotify. this is global of course, we'll see what portion of those came from the US.

it's up to #107 on Apple Music US now and jumps to the top of their "Best New Song" section, whatever that means.
