If you think chart peaks and weeks at #1 are important, and that radio is crucial, then sure, it's not. But clearly Blinding Lights isn't #1 either with those metrics factored in.

People will only agree on what the biggest song is if it was both a longevity monster AND has a massive run at #1 on the Hot 100. The best example of both is obviously Uptown Funk, but Sunflower is outlasting it hard and will be #1 most-streamed/consumed (if you think the latter is over 18x Plat and is under-certified) by this year at the latest. As It Was has huge weeks at #1 and big longevity but it's still way behind in total consumption than both, so needs more time (doubt it will overtake them anyway).
