wow this is a STACKED singles week

I don't think KPOP is great or anything but I feel like it's more of a teaser to get people excited for Utopia than anything and in that sense I feel like it's gonna accomplish its goal

I think K-Pop is much better, and I could see it getting really big, if not by star power alone.

Pop music has been kind of unexciting this year imo, with a few exceptions.

The new Britney song doesn't help matters. I know she probably had little to say about it's release considering it's an easy coin with little effort but revisiting that horrid era of her career was a terrible idea.

I don't think you put Bad Bunny and The Weeknd together on a track to make it "a teaser". Unless you have more of these very high-profile collabs on the album. I would say this is his main bullet.

Fr, both 2022 and 2023 have been so awful for pop music and I don’t even why that is. At least this year there’s actually momentum (even if it’s from awfuk country songs) on the charts unlike exactly 1 year ago when “As It Was” was running several streaks at No. 1 with less than 200 points.

Just a terrible way to wrap up pop culture in what has been a truly chaotic period to live in known as the early 2020s. Can’t wait for the mid 2020s to begin, I’m really more excited at what 2024-2026 might bring to the table.

I definitely agree. Travis feels a little overshadowed by the other two on his own song. I'm hoping that this is just a one-off on Utopia and the rest of the album is good and cohesive.

To be fair Travis is often outshined by his features, though usually that's because they give some of their strongest performances on his songs. Here it's mostly because Travis was kind of meh

The weakest link on the song is the chorus. Had Abel performed it I think the song would stick much better

Mind Your Business would be lucky to debut top 40. My radio station totally dragged it and only played Circus instead and it probably isn’t getting the radio support of Hold Me Closer.
