Might be an unpopular opinion but wow, this is already the most generic dance pop song I’ve ever heard, lyrically and sonically. This is no shade to you or your profile photo, but for me, Single Soon wins at that. Didn’t that manage to go top 10 on pop, too? So hopefully we might see something good here |

So hopefully we might see something good here Yeah, I don’t particularly like that song either. It’s not as generic though, at least in terms of the topic it covers. It’s a period of time in a flailing relationship that hasn’t been written about very often, if ever. Commercially speaking, Selena was definitely at a better place than Katy will be post-“Woman’s World”. |

This snippet does nothing for me and I personally can't see how it's this era-saving song everyone says it is. I've heard this before and I've heard this from her. I wish she had saved "When I'm Gone" or "365" for this moment.

One of my favourite things about Katy's songs are her lush background vocals and ad-libs, which were sorely lacking in Woman's World. Hopefully Lifetimes has loads. I'm hoping it has a more interesting instrumental too

I do really like “Lifetimes” so far, but completely agree with you. She should go with the 21 Savage track as her next single.
