Well, I stand fully corrected. I truly thought she would wait until 2025 to drop anything from LG7.
So to recap... Gaga is going to do Joker, LG7 Single, all while "Die With a Smile" is likely climbing and nearing a peak.

I think it's also safe to draw some conclusions on a few speculative items:
1) Die With a Smile is not affiliated with Joker
2) Joker unlikely pushing any major soundtrack single from Gaga
3) LG7 will not be affiliated with Joker (due to the single coming out after the movie drops)

I have a feeling that DWAS is going to overshadow (and outchart) this, but I'm very confident that I'll enjoy the LG7 lead much more.

Depending on the style of single1, it’s possible DWAS and it can coexist and succeed together. Though I do think solo Gaga could struggle unless it somehow has a sound that appeals to people outside of her direct fandom. People seem to be here for Gaga but only to an extent. Either way, it’s less than two months away! I wonder if that means the album is coming before year’s end or maybe in January?

I am just confused as to why they put DWAS out to begin with. If it wasn't for her own album and they planned to release a single from it just a couple months after, what was the point? Did they not see it becoming a longstanding hit? I feel like this could get overshadowed by DWAS depending on the sound.

It reminds people of her credibility, similar to how her Oscar sound of music performance helped her prior to whatever era followed (ASIB)? For some reason, I find people tend to be dismissive of Gaga and her talents until she does something that is hard to argue against, such as this song. In that sense, it helped get her some general goodwill before her next era begins. |

I hope she is nominated (and wins) and Oscar for Best Actress or Supporting Actress. Yes, she has one for Song, but she wants and needs one for acting. Reviews from the movie were not good but for her they were. Loved her look in Venice. It was smart to team up with Bruno too. Now we need LG to do a Cher and win a Best Actress Oscar. Imagine her winning that the same time her new album drops! I do not care what type of music she does on her new album. I know I will love it.

I’m excited for new Gaga and I’m glad that she is sticking to pop for LG7. I low key hope she gives us something darker but kinda dance-y too ala Bad Romance. The little snippets she’s given us sound great. I hope the lead is released earlier in the month (this week or next).
