In the good old days (90s), the Drake/Kendrick spissy feud would've been settled differently. It's fortunate this is a battle of words (lyrics, legal filings, etc.) instead of something else.
I mean it's really hard to care about a manufactured PR beef between entitled multimillionaires. Mariah v Nicki cut deeper than this!

You're missing the obvious part of the streams for "Who" which are primarily botted by fans over and over, not by the label. I really doubt "Not Like Us" has any suspicious/botted streams to be honest. |

I do think NLU had something sus going on on Spotify, but I'm pretty sure that was just the Spotify algorithm being fucky. Autoplay was really weird from ~Like That to ~Please Please Please, if I'm remembering right, and I know Not Like Us was a beneficiary of that. Given the bredth of artists affected (from superstars like Kendrick and khias like Tommy Richman), I'd bet it was coincidental rather than a conspiracy.

Assuming holiday songs keep being allowed to re-enter the Hot 100 each year, over time a lot of those songs will pass "Blinding Lights." Obviously "AIWFCIY" will be the first to do so, but ultimately so will other holiday songs because they will all end up with hundreds of weeks charted. If my math is correct, "AIWFCIY" is very likely to enter the top 10 of the All-Time chart by the end of this holiday season. After next season it could very well be #3. |

Drake going full-tilt Karen is only going to push more people to favor Kendrick, so do the most Drake. On top of this, it presents the perfect opportunity for people to run a fine tooth comb through his catalog and see if any of his songs were artificially inflated. Do you know how many downfalls were manifested through trying to smear someone else? The public won't stand for hypocrisy at that level and people are already itching for reasons to pick apart Drake further. Not really smart of him or his people, but I'm not surprised at all.
