Well, since it's a rather obscure hit, I'll give the artist's name: Nikki Leonte. doh! I should've known that. It was on my chart too. By the way, it's spelled Leonti. ;) Andrew Peterson - Isn't It Love All I can think of is Whenever You Need Somebody by Plus One and Natalie Grant, though I'm not sure what band who had CHR/Pop hits you're talking about. Peter Cetera - Perfect World Shania Twain ?? N Sync - Gone ?

63) The former lead singer of the Windy City band sings a song about a place everybody would love to live in. Well, it's Peter Cetera. No idea on the title. 62) This song, by a woman who invited you to come on over, had a very brief chart run on the CHR/Pop chart in late summer, 2001. Samantha Mumba - I Don't Need You To (Tell Me I'm Pretty)

Very good, Cribbins and Cerebro.
BTW, I sort of goofed when I said Natalie Grant was the lead singer of a band who's had a few CHR/Pop hits. I was thinking of Sixpence None The Richer, but I realized that she's not even in the band (though I swore she was in some band - not sure of the name).
Now for the next set of songs:
60) CS: This song is from the man that eased the minds of many graduating seniors by reminding them that friends are friends forever. This was a huge hit from the summer of 2001.
59) This song sounds a lot like a dance version of "Groovy Kind Of Love"
58) This song has the same title of a Milli Vanilli song, but is not uptempo.
57) CS: This song has the same title as an FFH song from last year.
56) Well, this one apparently wasn't as interesting as that story we heard about a certain girl, since it did nowhere near as good on the Pop chart (but did hit #9 on my chart early in the year).

58) O-Town - All Or Nothing
56) Nine Days - If I Am (the follow-up to "Absolutely (Story Of A Girl)")

That is indeed right.
Now, if Cribbins could chime in and name the two Christian A/C songs

Very good, Cribbins, both are right.
Now to go up to the halfway point of the chart. These are almost all Christian songs, so I hope Cribbins happens to still be on.
55) CS: This kicked off what turned out to be my favorite year-end Christian countdown of 2001. It's by a group who had a number one song in the summer of 2000.
54) Someone who has been playing along was tuning into AT20 in October, 2000, heard this song, by the top A/C artist of the 20th century, and thought AT20 had been cancelled, but in fact, they'd just switched charts.
53) CS: This song is "call"-ed, um, another term for your identity.
52) CS: This song is, was, and will be one of several that remind me of the early part of 2001, definitely one of the high points in my life.
51) CS: In this song, the artists wonder what it would be like without God.
GOOD LUCK!!

55) Plus One - Forever 54) Elton John - I Want Love? 53) Caedmon's Call - Who You Are Unfortunately, you only got one of those right, song #53. For #54, right artist, wrong song. As for #55, you totally missed that one ("Forever" came out in 2002, BTW).

#55 Not Plus One! :( Well, they did have a #1 in 2000. :) #54 Wow, an Elton John song from 2000? I'll guess... Someday Out Of The Blue? #52 Is there a clue given here with the "is, was, and will be"? Otherwise, there is no helpful information in this clue. It would be like me saying "#52 - This is one of my favorites from 2001."

#55 Not Plus One! :( Well, they did have a #1 in 2000. :) OK, to find the name of this group, hold your check up to the light :) Nope. It's a song that didn't do as well as many of his other songs. I know, and the "is was and will be" is part of the clue. It refers to lyrics in the song. In fact, those lyrics are in the chorus of the song.

Watermark -- All Things New (and thanks for the kind words about it being your favorite countdown. ;)) Elton John - Friends Never Say Goodbye (and actually I didn't think At20 had been cancelled, I just thought they were playing songs to fill up time before they started a football game) Sara Groves - The Word Zoegirl - No You ?

Watermark -- All Things New (and thanks for the kind words about it being your favorite countdown. ;)) You're very welcome (GorillaForce Top 50, for anyone who doesn't already know - too bad it didn't last very long, but it was wonderful, nevertheless) Oh yeah, that's right (I meant to post that, but it sounded too wordy, so I just simplified it. Yeah, you thought they'd moved the show to another time slot and were just playing music until the beginning of the football game, which your station would occasionally simulcast, since you apparently had seen the R&R AC chart earlier and "Friends" was not yet in the Top 20. Then, as you were thinking how cool it would be if Casey had switched to a different chart, his voice came over the radio saying that the song was joining the countdown, as the sixth of seven debuts (yes, I have the hard copy of the thread from the old R&R boards :)) Those two, along with the other two, are right.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot - let's kick off the top half of the countdown:
50) A former boxer hit the A/C chart with a tender ballad.
49) This summer hit (on the CHR/Pop chart) sampled a song from the same band who brought us great hits like "You Can Do Magic" and "Sister Goldenhair".
48) This song, thankfully, seems to have replaced "Wind Beneath My Wings" (and it's also cut down on the frequency of "Because You Loved Me") as Long Distance Dedications.
47) A former singer of a great band who had a few hits earlier this year, however, her voice sounds like it's seen its better days in this song.
46) CS: A great toe-tapping hit from early 2001 from a man whom we've already heard about once in this countdown.

Let's try this again! :) #55 Watermark - More Than You'll Ever Know Nope, since this song was the other 2000 song I was talking about. Note: This song did not chart, since I wasn't yet charting Christian songs on my chart, even though I'd been listening to 20: The Countdown Magazine since May. The sole exception, however, was "I Will Be Your Friend" by Michael W. Smith, particularly since I felt sure he'd release this to A/C radio. Unfortunately, that was not to be. Other than that, Christian songs began popping up on my chart in late 2000 and most, if not all of them, are on this countdown - if they were songs I felt were "just OK", I didn't bother charting them, until a little later on in 2001 (hence, the presence of low charters like "In Me" and "Wonderful One" on the Top 100). When did this song chart? I didn't even know that Elton John remade it. As you can see, the song in question turned out to be "Friends Never Say Goodbye", a song we would never have heard on AT20 had they not switched to the weird Mediabase chart, as this song only peaked at #21 on the R&R chart for several weeks, a la "If You Believe" by Sasha, a song that probably would also have made an appearance on AT20 had the switch been made a few months before. Anyway, GOOD LUCK on the five clues I just posted.

Yes and yes (BTW, the sampled song was "Ventura Highway" by America).
BTW, I made a slight faux pas in clue #47, when I said "A former singer of a great band..." The singer is still with the band - in fact, I believe she sang lead on one and provided back-up vocals for the other.

#48 Faith Hill - There You'll Be Actually, this was the song that seems to have replaced "Tears In Heaven" as a popular dedication about the death of a friend or family member. This song is becoming a popular song to dedicate to someone to whom you owe gratitude, like "Wind Beneath My Wings" and "Because You Loved Me".

OK, an easier hint:
You're on the right track with your guess of "Thankyou". Just put a space in between the "k" and the "y" and add three more words.
