17 was already guessed. It's song #19 that we're looking for. And it's not Dismissed. It was ZoeGirl's first hit from 2001.
Since it's pretty much in the bag at this point, I guess I can post the next set of clues:
15) This song, from a rock band that's been performing for longer than many of us have been alive, is one of their biggest CHR/Pop hits. One of my favorite by the band, as well.
14) CS: My favorite song by this group, it reminds us how Gods love is here, faithful and alive. It brings tears to my eyes everytime I hear it, since it's so deep.
13) CS: I recently compared this song to "Eighth World Wonder" by Kimberley Locke.
GOOD LUCK!!

Songs 15 and 14 were correctly guessed.
Hint on the ZoeGirl song: A teen Christian singer had a big hit on the Christian A/C chart in 2000 with a song whose title was similar to the song in question.

That's right!
A hint for song #13: In this song, the artist says, no matter where you are, God is never inaccessible.

Another clue: The artist is a female, whom has already made an appearance on this chart.

Erin O'Donnell - No Place So Far ?
Though I thought I remember you saying that one was higher on your year-end chart, but maybe I'm wrong.

#13 is indeed "No Place So Far". I might have said I wished I'd placed this song higher - I believe I recall talking about this song in a chat a few weeks ago and I may have said that. Be that as it may, let's continue the game. We're entering the home stretch. The next three are all Christian songs:
12) Right now, as we speak, many parents are saying this to kids returning from college (Just a reminder, there was NO song in 2001 entitled "Go Out And Get A Summer Job You Lazy Bum".
11) A very pretty song, that, in past Personal Chart Flashbacks from 2001 (on the old R&R Boards), I've said that I wished I had given this #1. It's about how you have to have faith in God, no matter what life throws at you.
10) The final #1 song of 2001, it made a slow climb up my chart at first, then broke wide open, shooting to #1 in early November, about the time it hit #1 on 20: The Countdown Magazine". It's by an all female group who had at least two #1 songs on the CCM chart in 2001. The other one was #1 in early summer.
GOOD LUCK!!

Yes it is, Cribbins.
Apparently, my clues for #12 and 11 were a little difficult for everyone, so here are a few easier ones.
12) Families will also be saying this if and when their loved ones come home from the war.
11) The first name of the woman who sings this song is the same as a singer who had many #1 country songs in the 1970s and 1980s, such as "Half The Way" and "Talking In Your Sleep".
GOOD LUCK!!

Those are both correct answers!!
BTW, my next clue on "Trust Me" would have been something about its struggle on the CCM chart. The song didn't get past #13 or 14, but spent something like 15 or 16 weeks on the chart. Talk about determination!
Anyway, here is the next set:
9) You might say this song is about denial despite positive evidence.
8) This was a dance/pop song that started its chart run at the very beginning of the year. The subtitle is a filler for when someone runs out of words.
7) This song, by a famous guitarist, sounds like a song by Bachman/Turner Overdrive from 1976 called "Looking Out For #1". And that's exactly what this song was doing, thought it fell short, peaking at #2 (on my chart). I believe it just missed the top ten on the A/C chart.

OK, a few more easier clues
9) This song probably would have been the first new #1 of 2001 on the CHR/Pop charts if not for the release of another song.
7) This famed guitarist had many big chart hits in the 1970s and 1980s, but I'm not making any Promises that you'll like any of them. When you hear one, you might say "ARGH, I can't stand it!" or on the other hand you could say, "Ah, this song sounds wonderful tonight."

Right on #7, nix on #9. Remember the other clue, the person denied doing something even though all the evidence was there.

That's what I'm looking for!
6) CS: This song was picked up on every radio station when it was released in early-mid March 2001 and as a result, debuted on the CCM chart at #12. It became one of the year's most popular hits and it's by a group who has several hits on this year's countdown.
5) CS: The woman who sings this song is currently charting with a song inspired by a very popular movie.
4) A dance club song that barely scraped into the Top 30 on the CHR/Pop chart in April, 2001.
GOOD LUCK!!

#6 I want to say MercyMe - I Can Only Imagine, but they didn't have "several hits" on this countdown. So, time for another one of my random guesses:
ZOEGirl - Here and Now (is this song even ON the countdown)?
#5 Joy Williams - Serious? #4 Daft Punk - One More Time? (this one peaked at #31 though in April 2001)

Only #4 is right. (I didn't have my charts with me, so I wasn't sure where "One More Time" peaked.
And #5, you have the right artist, but the wrong song (though, in retrospect, I wish I would have charted "Serious", since it's such a great song).
And I'm not sure that the group who sings #6 had several hits on the countdown, but I know that they had at least one other one besides this song.

YES!!!
OK, now for the final three songs.
3) CS: This song is by a trio that is currently in the Top Ten of 20: The Countdown Magazine.
2) This song is becoming a popular Long Distance Dedication.
1) CS: This was #1 by a landslide. It's by a young female and the first three words of the title are also the first three words of the title of a song by Wings.
GOOD LUCK!!

2) This song is becoming a popular Long Distance Dedication. There are several songs that I could go with. You might need to be more specific. But I'll throw one out just for the heck of it: Eve 6 - Here's To The Night (?) Random Side Note: It's post 500 for me. Promotion to Senior Member!

2. Based on that clue, I want to say Enrique Iglesias "Hero". But I'm not sure if it's already in the Top 100 (I skipped to the last page )

To Cerebro: First of all, congrats to your promotion to Senior Member. Welcome to the club. However, I'm afraid your answer is not right.
To Mike K102: You must not have been on the R&R boards very often. "Hero" is a song that I hate with a passion. Needless to say, it is nowhere to be found on this list.
To everyone: Here's another hint for song #2: The song seems to be overshadowing another song that was popular in early 1992. It became a popular dedication about a certain situation (if I told which situation, it would give it away) until this song, which was coming out about this time in 2001, came along and stole its thunder (although the other song is still occasionally requested).

That never occurred to me. No, I wasn't on very often for the first 7-8 months that I'd been registered on the R&R boards (meaning for practically its whole Pop run). However, now I have no idea.
