Wow! What A Song! With all of the talk about this single, which I'd never heard, I decided to take my sister's cd and listen to the song, I haven't taken it out of my cd player yet and I've played the song over and over, this is just perfect for Christmas. I don't want to get sick of it though so I'm going to slow down the listening for a while. This one is really hard for a prediction, I'm going to say that the gains will slow down but she won't lose her bullet until after the holidays, so I'll say #14. This is probably the best ballad of 2003, IMO.

I haven't listened to pop radio in days for fear of accidentally hearing this song. I'm glad it made the Top 50 so fast - because it'll mean that it gets booted off the Top 40 into recurrentland one week earlier should it stay the full 20 weeks. I see a fast fall for it tho, but not as fast as some of J. Lo's singles or Me Against The Music. I dreamt last night that I woke up and saw its bullet go down from +500 to +20 overnight. Really. Wow that must've been a great wet dream. And you see what i mean! When Christina's fans are always celebrating something good, you always have to come in and bring something negative to the table! Just shut up already!

Is it possible to absolutely love Christina but dislike 99.999% of her other fans?
This is a long topic, so I was just wondering if I was the only person who predicted this song would go top 5? I don't even remember what I predicted (I think 3 or 4). Radio clearly loves this lady, as it's becoming clear that she will finish this year as pop radio's most played artist. I'm so happy that radio recieved "Stripped" so well. Now if they do the same thing for my co-favorite singer Queen Spears, I would be happier with the state of music than ever before.

No, you're not the only that thinks this could go top 5. I can see this peaking at top 3, or even #1. I definitely think it's possible.

I don't think I ever made a specific prediction, I just said I hoped for Top 20.. and I thought that might have been a stretch at the time, but now I think it can maybe reach around #13, but I'll still be satisfied if it makes Top 20

My prediction was for #1! still sticking by it. This is one song that A LOT of people are underestimating and it is gonna surprise people. I see it making a slow move into the top 10.

This song officially debuts at #42 with +830! In comparison lets look at her other singles off of "Stripped" when they entered the top 50!
Dirrty-#43 (+897) 897 spins, 81 adds Beautiful-#35 (+975) 1586 spins, 54 adds Fighter-#43 (+974) 1240 Spins, 103 adds Can't Hold Us Down-#37 (+969) 1290 spins, 73 adds (?) The Voice Within-#42 (+830) 1016 spins, 97 adds
So TVW debuts higher than both "Fighter" and "Dirrty"

I'm still puzzled as to why "Can't Hold Us Down" hit #3. That song imo was complete garbage.

i too wonder why CHUD did better than "Fighter". If i could change things aroud i would've made "Fighter" peak at #3 and CHUD peak at #5.

"The Voice Within" deserves to do well because it's such a great song.

It is a very well written , well composed song. And her voice is top notch. This is her strongest ballad yet imo. (that has been released)

I really love Cant Hold Us Down, it didnt surprise why it did better than Fighter. Thats my favorite song off Stripped.
The Voice Within is such a great song as well, I would love it go to top 10 with this. This album just rocks. Im not even a fan.
