"She Will Be Loved" has been announced as Maroon5's next single, and the video will be shot in LA next week.
This is from the KIIS FM website:
Win A Trip To The Set Of Maroon 5's New Video Shoot! One lucky KIIS CLUB winner will get to be on the set of Maroon 5's new video shoot for 'She Will Be Loved.'
The video will be shot here in L.A. the second week of April!
Hmm I have mixed feelings on this...I think the song is good but it gets depressing after hearing it a number of times. It really reminds me of Coldplay. I would have rather seen 'Shiver' or 'The Sun' as the next single.
The song should do well, not as well as 'This Love' but maybe it could sniff the bottom regions of the Top 10.
I'd predict a peak of #9 but it could be anywhere up to #15 because of the nature of the song, and it's going to be spring/summer, I don't really know if that's what people want to hear on pop radio at that time of year.
I think it will at least go Top 15 just based on the success of 'This Love'.

Yuck!
I think this will be this year's "If You're Not The One" so how about a peak of #7?

**scratches head** I remember a topic where people were so upset that This Love was chosen over She Will Be Loved
Anyways, I think this is a good choice in that it will be a change from the first two. Im still not crazy about it though

I've never heard it, but I sure hope they don't pull a Shaggy and release the song to radio before "This Love" goes to number one!

I like it, but I agree with it getting depressing after a while, add in whinny too. I was thinking of "Tangled" or "The Sun" for the next single, especially since "Tangled" seems to always have a spin at mediabase. "The Sun" has a really catchy chorus. I think this will peak around #12. I hope Maroon 5 releases a 4th single.

One of my favorites from Songs About Jane. I could see this doing well on pop, but not as successful as "Harder To Breathe" or "This Love".
Prediciton: #12

Call me crazy, but I see this song going Top 5, possibly #1. This is a huge fan favorite and will hit well with the females.

This one sounds like a smash to me, it was an automatic standout on the awesome "Songs About Jane."

It's another home run for the band! :)
I have some strange feeling some Urban or CHR/Rhythmic track will keep this from giving them their second #1, but this is a classic in the making.
My Prediction: #2
Sincerely, Noah Eaton

Adam L. better show some skin in the video. Didn't he show enough in the "This Love" video? ;) Sincerely, Noah Eaton

Disappointed. I wished they had released Sunday Morning or Tangled instead.

I think this is a great song. Chicks will definitely dig this. Then again, I thought that about "Your Body Is A Wonderland" too and that didn't really meet my expectations. Still, I predict a peak in the #4 range.

Damn, I saw this song as easily being a hit. It's a great song and everyone I know that has heard it likes it.
Thanks, Ben

I never thought there would be another song as the third single. I mean, all of the radio tracks are so obvious. I'm sure the fourth one will be "Shiver". I just can't hear Sunday Morning on Pop, but it might go to Hot AC.

I just can't hear Sunday Morning on Pop, but it might go to Hot AC. I wouldn't be sure to call them "obvious". "Tangled" also has potential to be a single, even "Must Get Out" sounds radio-friendly. "Sunday Morning" would make a bad mainstream single, but excellent for Triple A, even Smooth Jazz, and fair enough for Hot AC. Sincerely, Noah Eaton

Is 'Must Get Out' the song that mentions "city" in the chorus? If so, I love that one. I was listening to their CD today and I have to say, after a few listens, the songs really get trapped in your head. 'She Will Be Loved' is also a favourite of mine and I'll be giving it early adds!

I love this song and I think it will be huge.
I also wish some Alternative stations (besides the Triple A-leaning ones) would give them a chance, but I doubt that's gonna happen, especially with this song.

Well, in my opinion, the three single choices from this album have been obvious. I can't believe the lack of respect "This Love" was getting around here when people heard it would be the 2nd single. I always predicted that it would be the song that thrust them into the mainstream, and half the people around here barely expected it to crack the top 20 or 30. This one will do really well on HotAC and it will be at least top 15 on Pop.

Top 3 for sure, I really do not see any songs getting in the way besides new 50, or Eminem which is due this summer. I guarentee Must Get Out will be their fourth single off the album for the end of this fall. Choosing She Will Be Loved was almost a given considering it used to be sung on the end of This Love's first version. Great Song.

This is way more radio-friendly than "This Love" and "This Love" is doing very well.
