Mr. Winehouse also confirmed that his daughter is gearing up for a new album. “She has two or three more live gigs then she will be working on her new album. Amy Winehouse was hospitalized Monday night for a reaction to medication but was expected to be released by morning, representatives for the Grammy-winning singer said.
An ambulance took Winehouse from her north London home to University College Hospital, spokesman Chris Goodman said.
"Doctors have advised that she will be kept under observation overnight and is likely to be released tomorrow,"

Amy Winehouse, Mark Ronson for Quincy Jones album[/url]Amy Winehouse and Mark Ronson are recording a song set to appear on a tribute album to legendary producer Quincy Jones. The duo last worked together when they attempted to record the theme to the new James Bond film, 'Quantum Of Solace', only for Ronson to end the sessions due to Winehouse's alleged erratic behaviour. Jack White and Alicia Keys have since recorded the film's theme. Speaking about the Quincy Jones project, an unnamed source told the Daily Mirror: "Amy first met Quincy backstage at the Nelson Mandela gig in Hyde Park in June. "He knew who she was and she was so thrilled to meet him. Her performance clearly impressed him - he was raving about her." Other artists rumoured to appear on the album include Mariah Carey and Usher.
