25 spins short of last Tuesday's number, but more than every other one of the past 14 days. In fact, it was her second highest number of daily spins in all of NA's run so far!!

^No but it makes it chart higher and gives it more exposure. Its the difference between having a song nobody hears and at least exposing it to the most potential buyers as possible. Yet its download totals fell last week despite all of her TV appearances. She had a huge drop-off on her second week and this week she practically remained the same. TV appearances can only help so much. I think the fact that she did all those TV appearances helped get word of mouth out, which is the real promo. That's why she barely dropped at all this week IMO.

Oh god, the 'RCA is sabotaging her' thing is f**king pathetic. If they wanted to f**k her over they just wouldn't promote her.
But as we all know RCA has promoted her more then any other artist on RCA right now. And the leaked memo proves that the label is upset and is not rooting for the song to fail.

It seems to me that it's not the appearance of the negative articles that has gotten people mad. Most of us here understand that not every post has to be 'go kelly!' and all. What got a lot of people angry was that the poster used (misused?) those articles to claim that Kelly was ungrateful to AI. I think a bunch of people have pointed out that those quotes were not really saying what the poster claimed they said. I was going to drop it, I really was. However... Distancing herself from Idol was a big part of Kelly's narrative ever since she signed up with The Firm, and up until now. Anyone who follows her career on the boards would know it, so I cannot imagine that fans as devoted as Shannon and Focus could have possibly missed or forgot about it. So I'm just scratching my head watching them denying it everywhere. If you read her early interviews, you'll see that Kelly changed her mind about many things over the years as her career progressed, so what's the big deal about this one? ???

^^ Focus, you're failing as a Kelly fan!! How could you have missed such a crucial, non-existent fact?
Dude, the negative bullets sucks!! Well, at least it's a moderate hit. And it seems to be doing ok on iTunes.

Beautiful flop!
It negative bullet came faster than I could ever have guessed, but I'm pretty sure the RCA payola check will make a difference in a few weeks

Beautiful Liar wasn't a flop. it made it to a peak of #3. More than any song of most artists can produce in one era. Pop radio didn't embrace it, but that's largly due to the fact that it sounds like DL Beyonce and not B'Day Yonka.

Kelly must have signed a deal with Idol. Fox News, here in Phoenix, is hawking her Tour and sponsoring Contests for tickets to her Concert.
Talk about selling your soul to the devil.

The overall success in America was mediocre.

^....and this song is doing much worse. BL was a 4th/5th single. This song is doing poorly even as a first single.

I'm sure Kelly has an "Irreplaceable" or "Sweet Escape" song on the CD that will have a lot of success. Bring on that single!

It's a good song. It's radio, RCA, and Clive that are flopping it. That's on them. As they say, what goes around comes back around!!! They'll get their day in the s**t pit also. I ain't gonna be sad about it either.

'Wind It Up' got a very poor reaction, but 'Sweet Escape' was a smash. HINT HINT. But the album isn't It has sold 2.8 million worldwide and close to 1.3 million in the US after only 2 singles...and has yet to drop out of the top 20 worldwide, or top 30 in the US. Considering how albums are selling this year, and that it is still selling extremely consistantly...I think that is great. And remember, LAMB did not really take off until its 3rd single anyways.

Well its still doing well on downloads and she should see a surge after her AI performance too. Meh @ radio...it could be like Candyman and do decent download figures.

Even though this isn't my favorite Kelly song, I don't understand why it is doing so poorly radio wise. Losing its bullet already? It's not that bad. I can think of like four songs on the radio I like better at the moment.
I hate conspiracy theories, but it makes one go . . . ??????

Pop radio didn't embrace it, but that's largly due to the fact that it sounds like DL Beyonce and not B'Day Yonka. If she had another DIL song radio would eat it up, it flopped cause it sucked and sounded like a knock off of 1000 other songs. Anyway too bad this is falling I wonder what's really going on with RCA???

I really dont think their is any RCA conspiracy going on here...this is not the first time that very hyped first singles by female artists underperform...Deja Vu, Wind It UP, What You Waiting For, It's Like That, Dirrty, Me Against the Music and now Never Again...I think sometimes hype is its own worst enemy, because it sets expecationts too high, and then when the song fails to meet expectations on radio, it "flops".
But all those songs (other than Never Again as of yet) have one other thing in common...they were all followed up by HUGE 2nd or 3rd singles.
