Jon Bon Jovi's hits aren't Bon Jovi either. I agree. But that's the method I'm bound to, although it's potentially a flawed one. I think in this case it's not Nickelback because Josey Scott put an equal amount of effort into the song, so if anything it's a Nickelback/Saliva song, although it's more apt to call it a Chad Kroeger/Josey Scott song.

^I'm hoping Shinedown gets to the top and holds them off though. Why? This is some actual quality Rock right here. Shinedown's new song is pretty good for 00's standards as well but Nickelback's better as they do the complete picture here, classic hard hitting melodic Hard Rock which deserves a definite #1 in my book.

Ah well, the lyrics are what get me. Every time I hear this song, the fact that he refers to her as "cute" makes me picture Chad Kroeger chasing some teenage girl with pigtails as she sucks on her thumb.

I know what you mean Phobia. This song would be the perfect radio radio rock song for me with better lyrics (and a better subject for that matter).

Yeah, but then it dropped like a rock. It's normal for such a poppy song... Eh not really. Im gonna exclude How You Remind Me as an example because thats a natural ballad that did well everywhere. Someday was poppier than this, and Photograph was pretty close. Someday got to #4, Photograph to #3. GBS got to #10 and dropped quicker than a high school cheerleader drops to her knees. It's not just here either, #9 for a lead single of their on BB Mainstream Rock is bad too. HYRM was #1 there, Someday #2, and Photograph #1. SIYM is sure doing a great job of maintaining their credibility on Active, I just never thought it'd do that uch on MOdern/Alternative

now it's clear that it will have a chance to hit #1 If this doesn''t go #1, I don't think they will ever get a #1 on Mainstream Rock again... This week Dark Horse sold 194,000 copies in US. It dips from #4 to #6 in its fifth week. It sold 987k in US so far. Great sales so far!
