I was expecting the worst. But for being one of their low-brow, rock-radio boys club tracks, I actually didn't mind this one at all. The lyrics don't insult my intelligence like the other sexual ones do.
But it's very clearly a cock-rockin' song, a la Def Leppard and Bon Jovi, with their first-ever gang backup vocals, courtesy of the input from one Mutt Lange.
Future strip club anthem of the next 6 months for sure.
(As a side note, I was recently lamenting the fact that I never ended up frequenting strip clubs. Solely because I should've gotten a lapdance to the tune of Britney Spears' "Gimme More." What a missed opportunity that was. :( But I digress...)

I haven't heard this yet, or even the title. But it sounds hilarious! I'm not sure it's official, but thanks for proving the rules do not matter. It's about the songs. I didn't prove shit, I made this thread because I was mocking you.

Finally some good ol' hard hitting loud classic Hard Rock back into the charts! Rock getting thugged up again is a great pleasure on my side. It's been lame to me ever since some weird kids in the 90's had the idiotic idea to wuss it all up, the reason Rap took its place. Bottom line is there's nothing wrong with hot girl club scene philosophy being addressed in great old raw Rock 'n' Roll stylings that equals good times. Sure hope this trend catches on so we can have our radio back.

I respect your opinion for what it is but mine stands as the antheisis of yours. And to inform you kindly, I'm a veteran in this game. :) Quite frankly I'm not a fan of the Alternative but I do like my Hard Rock. I think that's where our biggest differences are. Pulse has got it all in one section but Alternative is in fact different from straight Rock. Nickelback is doing Rock with this song, so here I am. Good day.

That's all good and all, but I didn't say I didn't like you (It's much too early for that ;)). Anyway, I enjoy good hard rock too, I'm more of an active rock fan myself. I just don't like the mindless cock rock that's been all over the charts lately. I didn't mean any offense, and I hope you have fun around here. :)

Sorry if I sounded a bit harsh there man. Must've fought too many battles over the years, no hard feelings. ;) Personally I'm a big fan of the lively 80's Rock and this Nickelback song is getting to that style, also because production is being handled by a fave producer of mine namely mister Robert John "Mutt" Lange of course. I don't find any enjoyment in Alternative, I need some power in those chords. Instruments being used to the fullest with power vocal alongside good melody is first for me, lyrical content a second. After all it's the actual music that grabs you first right, after that the message. Otherwise we could simply stick to talk but I mostly enjoy a good combination of the 2. :)

The thing is the music to this is very good hard rock, if you ask me. The lyrics may put some off, but I think that this has a really good riff with some of the best hard rock music Active has had in awhile.

Musically this is great, lyrically I'd rank this somewhere between Saving Abel and Lil Wayne.

Im a huge Nickelback fan and even that may be an understatement.
I love this song overall. Id agree that the lyrics are bit .................... mehh. But they were going for a mindless, dirty rocker. Id say they done that. Musically is awesome though.
If these lyrics were as deep as their lyrics ever went on albums, then I would'nt be a fan , but it is'nt.

Lil' Wayne writes lyrics Chad Kroeger would take a million years to think of.
Of course those lyrics aren't in "Lollipop" or "Got Money", but listen to the good songs in the album.
