I heard Arlandria is next. I forget from where though. This better be true!

Except for These Days, they can put out anything from the album for single three and have it do very well.

"Bridge Burning" & "Miss the Misery" don't really have the most memorable hooks either. Anything else would really be fine with me.

Yeah, Miss The Misery doesn't really have a positive vibe at all. These Days following Walk doesn't make sense, but maybe down the road. I think White Limo and Bridge Burning would both do well. I'm pretty sure it's a 50/50 toss up between Arlandria and Bridge Burning.

Looks like this has a shot at stealing #1 back from "Rain Dance Maggie." Ugh.

Interestingly, it got to #1 on Billboards's Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks with a tie in spins with "Lowlife". As "Walk" was the greatest gainer out of the two ("Lowlife" actually lost spins on both Active Rock and Rock), it grabbed the top spot.

Barring a late charge today from The Adventures..., Walk will spend its 3rd nonconsecutive week at #1 starting next week. And it may get comfortable for a while, although maybe not as long as Rope.
New poll added for predictions on next single as well!

I agree that's a top-3 choice. But I'm talking U.S. radio, and there is nothing in the foreseeable future from any radio source saying Arlandria is the choice. But I'd like to see it eventually!
And I'm not positive, but I think it was you that said Walk would be the first single from Wasting Light. You'll understand the skepticism from the posters here in believing Arlandria is going to U.S. radio tomorrow, as your "source" suggests.
But again, I hope Arlandria finds radio success very soon.

"Arlandria" should be next since I'm already charting it.

Huh? You can't chart a song unless it's an upcoming single??

I saw that too. But Billboard would've had it announced before that, and seeing as how tomorrow is September 5 and absolutely NO MUSIC industry mag or site has it going to radio tomorrow, how reliable is that at this point? It's probably the same site that announced "Walk" as the lead single. I'm not saying that site is wrong. But it's a lucky guess and certainly radio stations won't be adding it tomorrow with Walk just ascending to the top today.
I hope it does go, although "White Limo" or "Bridge Burning" would be awesome as well.

I'm surprised their label hasn't pushed this song as a crossover at all, especially at Hot AC. I feel like this would be a surefire top 20 especially with all the support it had from VH1, It's probably too late now though. Did it even enter the top 50 at Hot AC does anyone know?

^ No, it never (as far as I know). It did go Top 80 on pop though, so I don't think it would've been hard to at least get Top 30 on HAC.

I think once Foo Fighters go Hot Adult, their Alt. days are numbered.

^ Why, they've crossed over a number of times. They never achieved very high peaks, but still the Foos have crossed over before. And as you can obviously see, their alternative days are far from over. And if you thought I implied that Foo Fighters should pull a Bon Jovi on us, you're very wrong.

I don't mean if they start charting high on Adult they are finished at Alternative, I meant to more accurately say that if they start gearing their singles specifically for that format, their chart-topping days on Alternative would be over. Most recent examples that come to mind would be Goo Goo Dolls and Nickelback.

Most recent examples that come to mind would be Goo Goo Dolls and Nickelback. That is a possibility if they ever decided to strictly release only ballads, but I don't ever see that happening. This latest album had a great mixture, so I don't ever expect them to only lean one way or another.

For the sake of the legacy this band has already built, I hope you're right.
