27. "All The Lovers" from Aphrodite (2010)
Okay we're getting to the really good ones you guys!! The lead single from Kylie's eleventh studio album is the first of two entries from Aphrodite on this list. I love this song and it was definitely a proper return to form for Kylie, imo. This dreamy pop, a la "I Believe In You" and most of the Aphrodite album, works for her. The video is classic Kylie as well, with that massive orgy in downtown LA and the random white horse, lmao.

For some reason I still haven't been able to get into Aphrodite much, but this is definitely the stand out of the album for me.

29. "Chocolate" from Body Language (2003) Don't really like this. 28. "Giving You Up" from Ultimate Kylie (2004) Pretty good! I think I might have heard it before. 27. "All The Lovers" from Aphrodite (2010) I was really underwhelmed with this one at first, but I've grown to love it. The dreamy instrumental is excellent and it's so catchy.

Made of Glass is a fun little song. All the Lovers I did not care for at all at first, but now I enjoy.

"Made Of Glass" - I love Xenomania's production style a lot and this is a perfect testament as to why. Anyways, this is great and definitely should have been given a proper release.
"All The Lovers" - I love Aphrodite as a whole, but this is actually my least favorite song off of it. It's grown on me a quite a lot, but I used to actually hate it at first. Its a good song though and the video for it is perfect.

26. "Spinning Around" from Light Years (2000)Here it is, the great comeback single that made an icon out of Kylie's ass and still has Paula Abdul fuming to this day. "Spinning Around", Kylie's first single on Parlophone, saw her return to commercial dance-pop with a disco groove. I love this single, which is an example of a perfect storm of a release imo: material, aesthetic and timing were all on point. The song just makes you want to shake your ass in tiny gold hotpants and the video is truly iconic. This song, originally intended for Paula's 'comeback album' which never came to fruition, ended up going to Kylie – who took it to #1 in the UK and Australia, launching her epic comeback from the pits of indie hell. Meanwhile, Paul continues to attempt a comeback of sorts with Kylie's leftovers ("Boombox", "I'm Just Here For The Music") to no avail. Bless.

lmao I had no idea Spinning Around was originally intended for Paula. Like, I can't imagine anyone but Kylie singing it. Like, ever. Such a perfect, iconic song.

"Spinning Around" - So unbelievably catchy and infectious. When I learned of the Paula connection quite some time ago it made me realize that I could very easily hear Paula sing this herself. The only issue is that Kylie's voice would still fit the song better and would still be superior anyways.

Oh I didn't see "Made Of Glass" before lol, it's a good song but not one of my favorites from her. "Spinning Around" on the other hand is FLAWLESS! Definitely in my top five from her

25. "Give Me Just A Little More Time" from Let's Get To It (1991)
This song, a cover of the Chairmen Of The Board classic, was the third single from Kylie's fourth album. It managed to get to #2 in the UK, becoming the biggest hit from Let's Get To It. I love the song, especially Kylie's "brrrrrrrrrr"s in one of the final choruses. I like the video, but it's nothing special. The B-side to this, "Do You Dare", is iconic though. Really wish Kylie'd ran with the club-oriented sound present on the LGTI era b-sides rather than the R&B-lite/new-jack-swing sound present on the majority of the album.

"Give Me Just A Little More Time" - Good remake and just a generally fun song. It's one of those songs that can get stuck into your head and honestly I'd say I prefer this version to the original.

24. "What Kind Of Fool (Heard All Dat Sh*t Befo')" from Greatest Hits (1992)
OMG, I love this song. The lead single for Kylie's PWL hits compilation, this was a relative flop for Kylie. Maybe that's why she hates it. But she loves "Celebration" (the second and final single), which flopped even harder, wadb. She looks SO good in the video, which is basically a film about my life.
Ughhhhh, I just love this. *hits replay again*

23. "Finer Feelings" from Let's Get To It (1991)Okay I love this one more. Released as the last single from Let's Get To It in early 1992, remixed by Brothers In Rhythm (I just pretend the album version never existed), this song was a huge flop in Australia but managed to peak at #11 in the UK. I think the underperformance of this era could be partly explained by the fact that she literally released an album every year between 1988 and 1992 (including the GH), never taking any breaks between singles. In that sense, she was basically the Rihanna of her time. Lyrically, the song is one of her first to be overtly sensual, a theme which would continue throughout the rest of her career. And the video is just so nice. Janet taught her with the "Come Back To Me" video. The best version of this song is from the Abbey Road Sessions. I've been waiting since January to own this on CD, and I'll finally have it next week. ^___^

"What Kind Of Fool (Heard That All Before)" - Catchy as sin. I know people like to omit her SAW roots, but again w/e some of my fav. work of hers are her SAW based productions (well in this case Waterman and Stock). I mean at least they gave her some gems like this and not shit of this persuasion instead. "Finer Feelings" - I love urban tinged Kylie and this is a perfect example why. It's not forward thinking or anything, but I just love the vibe of the song regardless. The video is also oh so fitting for the song too.

Chart Extra: "Closer" (1992)The b-side to "Finer Feelings", this song is such a hidden gem. If only she'd continued in this direction rather than making shit like "Word Is Out" and "Celebration". Anyway, I love this. Her heavy breathing is iconic. If only I'd been around when they played this in clubs... :'(

"Closer" - Queen of New Jack Swing j/k She likes using repeat titles, huh? This is the first time hearing this one (I'm a s**t fan, I know), but this is great. I'm really loving the production on this and lyrically I can dig it too.

22. "Please Stay" from Light Years (2000)
The third of four entries from this album, "Please Stay" is the black sheep of Light Years singles. Cast away by stans who favour "Your Disco Needs You"'s campy dance-pop and largely forgotten by the general public, this song is nevertheless one of my favourites from the album. I don't think Kylie cares for it too much either, since she rarely performed it. I like the latin influence on this, and it's a nice breather from the heavy dose of super gay disco songs. It's very easy on the ears, unlike half of the album. The video... um, well, it looks like a cheap amalgam of the two (solo) videos that came before it. Not a huge fan. Although that rotating bed looks cool, even if it made me slightly dizzy.

21. "I Should Be So Lucky" from Kylie (1987)What can I say about this ICONIC, LEGENDARY, CLASSIC? Kylie's first worldwide single is the highest pre- Rhythm Of Love entry on this list, barely missing the top twenty. The original version is such a cheesy guilty pleasure; truly dated production, singing budgie vocals and all. And the video is jokes upon jokes. This "i Luv you" chalkboard. That bathroom(?). The party hat clipart. The hair! And check her out staring at her iPad. Doesn't she look like Taylor Swift around the 3-minute mark? Anyway, this song has aged better than her other neanderthal SAW-era hits imo, in part thanks to remixes and reworked live versions, such as the piano ballad she performed on the X Factor in Australia last year, which I love. A similar version appears on The Abbey Road Sessions. <3 I'm proud to say that I own a copy of this record; my first-ever Kylie vinyl purchase. I literally found the 12-inch Canadian single in the bargain bin at a used record store. Purchase price: $1. ^____^
