Yes, Beggin' is getting a lot of airplay on the national playlist. That, along with the other rhythmic tracks on the list, and the DJ's that are announcing, seems to indicate that this whole thing is being run out of KIIS in LA. I have a crazy theory...(just came to mind cause Z100 would be the more obvious station to run the simulcast playlist) - KIIS needs a rhythmic-leaning CHR chart to stay on the CHR panel...lately #1s by AAR, Jason Mraz, and Taylor Swift have kinda forced it to be a little less rhythmic - so it proposes this rhythmic/pop overnight simulcast plain to Clear Channel, knowing it'll prevent rock/Hot AC tracks from hittin #1, and slow down rising tracks by Shinedown and Matt Nathanson that it doesn't want to add

The 'record' for highest SPSPW (Spins Per Station Per Week) still belongs to 'Over & Over', which averaged just under 94 SPSPW, well ahead of Leona Lewis & Linkin Park.

The centralization of playlist is the developing trend.
It becomes more and more costly to run an individualized playlist handled by radio DJs in this era of I-pods.

The cash flow for many radio companies is fine; it's the debt that's killing them, and with interest rates bound to go up, it's only a matter of time before CC files for bankruptcy.
That's why they've been on a cost-cutting rampage (putting Ryan Seacrest on 130+ stations being the most obvious cost-cutting move), and this 'Premium Choice' nonsense, which is anything but premium.
