Well, i would think the same thing but they gave us a prediction this week. Do they usually give predictions for weeks they don't do charts?

^I think HITS has posted Weakend updates for weeks in which it did not publish a chart- not 100% sure on that, though. Can't see why it wouldn't do an update today, though, if it were going to publish a chart.

No HITS chart this week, apparently. Today's no holiday, so would be surprising if it went and did a chart tomorrow. I'm trying to remember... I think last year they just posted the final chart on Tuesday. There was not a Monday update.

I'm with you. I am basically curious if they had done weekend updates in the past and not do a chart that week. But that would be tough to go back and research. LOL. So we will see what happens. They may not do a chart tomorrow but just give the final numbers in a release. i have no idea. Regardless we will get billboard numbers on wednesday.

I believe around this time of the year they only release the final chart, so, we should be getting the final numbers tomorrow, with no partials.

So, there's obviously some mistake with the chart this week?

That's strange. No one double-checked the numbers?

Strange...either way, I never thought Michael Jackson was going to take the top spot. This album will disappoint sales wise.

OMG, Ciara. I'm hoping Su-Bo's album passes 400K on Xmas week.

Nice to see Taylegend back where she belongs. Hopefully SS numbers keep her at #1.

Yikes at #1 being just over 250k and only 6 100k albums...I'm hoping for big increases this week. Thank god for Susan & Taylor.
Awesome week for Mumford...past 500k this week, I believe.
Get All Of The Lights out there NOW!

Oh people. Give the MJ album another week. How can it be disappointing when it's a posthumous release that's been filled with criticism. The sales in the top ten is pretty decent. I'm not sure if there will be another increase this week, but I'm hopeful.

Because the sole purpose of this album was sales...people trying to ride the Michael Jackson name.

It is a disappointment because Sony told Billboard they were expecting 400k the first week and 1 million within the first month. They set the expectations

I can't believe "The Band Perry" is pulling 35k off of their debut single! Damn!

For the mediocre album it is, Michael is doing great. I'm kind of happy it's not selling that much, that way they might finally leave Michael alone and stop trying to make $ out of his name.

I mean 70K in it's 26th Week.
It's like going back to 1999...When Dr. Dre said "Kept my ear to the streets, signed Eminem, He's triple platinum doing 50 a week".
Go 11 years later. He's triple platinum (not until interscope certifies it) doing 70 a week. ;)

If Kanye's album hadn't been released during the holiday season it would have been a flop.

Yeah but it will finish probably the end of 2011 at around 1.1 Million. So it will be a platinum album.

Well, he's not active on the radio, so he's holding up decently for hot having a hit single or an active single on radio. And it's not like he really promoted or anything. He should have, though, so that he could've benefited from holiday sales.

Seriously it's not like Kanyes sales are bad though. They are solid. Every artist benefits from holiday season so i don't think it's fair to say Kanye has only sold as much as he has because of that. Every artist experience boosts. It's not just ones that are released during the holiday season. Kanye needs to hope All The Lights blows up. If that happens he will be able to sustain some good weeks in the new year. If that doesnt happen he will still be platinum with over a million sold by the end of 2011. That's the worst case scenerio. He may be at 1.5.
