We all keep talking about Gaga's sales in December. I would think it won't be that high. Christmas season albums tend to favor the new releases of the day, not something released 7 months earlier Depends on if she has any current singles out at the time. I'm betting Adele will get a boost then as well. I don't see GaGa's Xmas gains being too significant but enough to give her good numbers for sure. Also, if she gets Grammy love she may get a boost then as well.

Gaga doesn't have a tour until next year, so I'm thinking they'll do a fairly aggressive promo campaign in time for the holiday sales. We already know she's been asked to host SNL.

Gaga's album will be totally utterly dead by Christmas barring a re-release with hits on it.

She'll be performing at the VMA's.

Considering TEOG will be going until early August, there are at least two potential hits on the album, and that she will probably be doing promotion in the fall and winter, I'd be surprised if you're right.

I think that's more them wishing the album will be dead. People can keep theorizing about the failures of Born This Way, but it's not going to stop at 2 million.

Gaga's label/Gaga herself is not going to let this album die before the new year.

I wouldn't be surprised if Gaga remains in the top ten for a few months. I think the dramatic second week drop has overshadowed the fact that this is a well-reviewed, well-received album that is getting a good response.
