Future Rock Legends has made its predictions on who will show up on the nominations ballot.
As usual, there's bound to be a few surprises when the HOF unveils the list later in the month. I'd be surprised if Fela made the nominees cut- though Darlene Love's chances weren't high, and she made it in. But, Fela's musical wasn't exactly big like Mamma Mia! or anything, right?

Future Rock Legends predicts the 2012 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nominees
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Nominating Committee will be meeting in New York on September 12, 2011 to determine the nominees for the 2012 induction ceremony.
Future Rock Legends predicts the following fifteen eligible artists will be on the 2012 ballot:
Artists who have recently appeared on the ballot...
* Beastie Boys - The Beastie Boys have previously been nominated in 2008 and last year. It's time for the Voting Committee to do their part to get them in.
Current Induction Chances: 82%
* KISS - The Induction Ceremony is back in Cleveland next year so it would seemingly make sense to nominate artists with passionate fans to energize the proceedings.
Current Induction Chances: 40%
* LL Cool J - LL Cool J has been nominated every year since becoming eligible in 2009, and his supporters on the Nominating Committee haven't gone away.
Current Induction Chances: 44%
* Donna Summer - Summer has been nominated three out of the last four years and likely will be again.
Current Induction Chances: 56%
* Chic - Chic is the current leader with the most nominations without being inducted (six). There's really no reason to believe that they won't be nominated again.
Current Induction Chances: 42%
* Laura Nyro - The last time the Rock Hall posthumously inducted a main performer into the Rock Hall was 2006 when Miles Davis was honored. Do voters find it easier to snub dead artists?
Current Induction Chances: 31%
* Joe Tex - Joe Tex (who would be another posthumous induction) has been nominated four times without getting over the hump.
Current Induction Chances: 6%
* Donovan - Donovan will likely be nominated for the second consecutive year.
Current Induction Chances: 11%
* Gram Parsons - The Rock Hall plans to look at the country roots of the rock and roll tree this year. Gram Parsons has been nominated three times before ('02, '04 and '05).
Current Induction Chances: 41%
Now for artists predicted to make the ballot for the first time...
* Guns N' Roses - It's been three years since a first-ballot Hall of Famer was inducted. Guns N' Roses have a great chance this year.
Current Induction Chances: 76%
* Sting - Sting just seems too entrenched in the music industry to be ignored by the Hall of Fame.
Current Induction Chances: 53%
* Rush - The only reason they are on this list is because the ceremony will be in Cleveland, and the Rock Hall Museum would love to have them included. Rush still faces huge obstacles to get on the ballot, but the iciness on the Nominating Committee towards them may be thawing.
Current Induction Chances: 16%
* Joan Jett - With the Rock Hall's celebrated "Women Who Rock" exhibit this year, it would be wrong not to include at least one of the featured performers on the ballot.
Current Induction Chances: 16%
* Fela - Fela has gotten a lot of publicity recently thanks to a hit Broadway musical.
Current Induction Chances: 4%
* Sonic Youth - It's encouraging to see that Sonic Youth has been taken seriously by the Nominating Committee. The next step is to get them on the ballot.
Current Induction Chances: 58%
The "Current Induction Chances" represent the artist's odds of ever being inducted into the Hall of Fame, as calculated by Future Rock Legends and its users.
