I feel like it wouldn't be smart for a jester to vote for yourself (outside RVS) unless you're the hammer vote. Because otherwise it can put that doubt in people's minds that maybe you're a jester, like you're doing lol. So I don't think he's a jester. Could be a scum ploy to try to seem like town, but far from enough to lynch based just on that.

RE: Cynthia - When I was hesitant, I was willing to hammer, but I didn't want to mislynch. I had realized that we were so close to the deadline and that we needed to lynch someone but I missed the posts where posters said they wouldn't be online. :(

I guess I was just surprised that he was already that close to a lynch and nervous about not lynching mafia. However, it was day 1 and we had nothing to go off of so I admit my mistake.

Sorry, I got wrapped up in modding the BB thread and haven't been giving attention to this one like I had wanted to. I'd like to give this thread a closer look, but it's almost 1am, and I'm about to crash.

Anyhow, from what I just read, it looks like we want to evict Drag for his roleblocker comment? I mean I guess that's suspicious, but I don't know if that's enough for me yet. I think I'll have to look at what else Drag has said to back that up. I will say that voting for himself is such a ridiculous stupid move and the ones I see who do it are generally doing it out of anger - Az did it in redacted out of anger - he was town, and hammered himself, I guess to punish town for being stupid. Rocky did it in snowtrapped because people figured out was scum and I don;t know, I guess he was bitter. Drag, if you are town, how do you think voting for yourself helps us?

Landmarx is still being infuriatingly lame. Did he really just come in and vote without explanation again?

I think I also noticed that Lozzy was quiet until he received a vote, and then came in to say something. Ginger probably remembers I found that suspicious of him in a previous mafia. And what he had to say didn't move the conversation forward at all - to sum up his thoughts - the dreaming god role is interesting, agreeing that we didn't get new info from the lack of NK, agreeing with me about my comment to Josh (thanks, though). So agreeing, but not really providing analysis, or a vote. Haven't heard from him since and I'd like to hear more from him.

Well for one, I'm helping with actually getting some discussion going. If I do get lynched, it would help town more the next day especially since I'm such an easy target for scum.

Anyway, I do think that regardless of why there's a no-kill for night one, if it was intentional it was potentially a good move because it means we're no further now than we were during day 1 (other than getting the independent out, which was just luck) and that we'd likely gang up on someone for day 2 who is more likely than not going to be town. So I might even suggest that the person we should be going after is more likely someone who is now intentionally laying low to avoid getting any sort of attention put their way. Lozzy, Landmarx, even Lahey, who hasn't posted once since Day 2 started I don't think, have all been kind of quiet, the first two posting only once. I may have missed some as well.

Yes.

You do have a point. These three individuals are fairly low on everyone's radar and after nearly getting lynched day 1, Landmarx has gotten a pass and the attention has been mostly on me day 2.

If Lahey hasn't signed in in 3 days, well, we can remove him from the list of suspicions on that basis but I think Landmarx is worth looking into. Hell, even Lozzy who I seem to remember is usually more involved than this.

The no night-kill thing is interesting to me because in the last game, before it got totally bastardized beyond repair, I was scum with Drag and Lahey and Drag suggested that we go for no-kill for night 1 because it would throw everything off. It actually seems pretty plausible that Drag would carry over a previous mafia strategy. While the mafia is only a select fe, and not everyone can receive this role multiples of times, strategies that have worked time and time again can be carried over: it's like the whole "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" spiel. However, the fact that he wants to commit suicide makes me wary of what he's actually planning. Maybe another kind of role?
