it'd be better if y&y dropped 1-off the chart but i'll take what i can get. plus i love seeing that i introduced you to a song that would eventually become a personal #1.

Good chart! I hardly know anyone on Pulse who doesn't like Beck's Dreams.

Chart Notes: - Every lead act, and one featuring act on the top ten this week can claim having hit #1 on my chart - with one exception. Any guesses as to who? Answer in spoiler below. :)
- The Summertime Madness tournament re-ignites my interest in Adam Lambert's Ghost Town, which debuts this week. Also debuting is modern composer Ludovico Eiunadi who you'd likely only hear on classical stations. It's so calming!
- Beck is in the top ten for the first time since 2008, when he was featured on Sia's Academia. That song hit #2 in February of that year.
Looks like I don't have a chart for 2002 or 2003 for this week, so we will skip up to 2004 for this week's retro chart. This was Usher's only week at #1 ever on my chart, but it was Alicia's 4th following Fallin', A Woman's Worth, and as a featured performer on Gangsta Lovin'. Karma would be her fifth #1 just a couple months later. She was on fire back then! At #2 was Fatboy's final entry in my charts - his remake of Steve Miller Band's "The Joker." {Answer}It's Selena Gomez, who had never hit the top ten before "Good For You."
beck hit #1 in 2007 with Timebomb; Kacey was #1 earlier this year with Biscuits; Fall Out Boy hit #1 way back in 2006 with "Dance Dance"; Otto KNows hit #1 last AUgust with "Parachute"; "Major Lazer hit #1 in 2013 with "Bubble Butt"; Ellie Goulding has hit #1 twice with "Lights" and "Love Me Like You Do"; Lenka hit #1 Christmas 2008 with her seasonal song "All My Bells Are Ringing."

Wow at Ghost Town now just debuting. Better late than never. It's not like I am just hearing it, but then I heard it again playing the Summertime Madness, which, why the fuck are you not participating, and decided to chart it after all.

wow late on ghost town. :O ;) Let's not even talk about how late you charted some of your Coldplay songs I had a reason, though. Trying to not chart all the songs at the same time so I get overloaded and then have nothing to chart after a few months.

I charted Ghost Town late so I wouldn't have to worry about Adam Lambert withdrawal right now.

Lies. He had like 3 or 4 promo singles so you wouldn't have to worry about that. I'm still working my way through the promo singles.

Chart Notes: - Fall Out Boy ascends to #1 this week, becoming their second #1. "Dance Dance" hit #1 all the way back in January of 2006! That nearly ten-year gap is the 2nd longest between #1s. Only Pharrell had a longer breaks between #1s - hitting #1 with "Beautiful" in April of 2003, and then not returning until his feature on "Get Lucky" in June of 2013
- The Summertime Madness tournament's ultimate winner was Adam Lambert's Ghost Town. He moves up slightly this week, but will be the beneficiary as I start to put my Halloween playlist into effect after next week, so expect him to last awhile into the charts. I don't care how old his song is. >:(
- Years & Years have both a song exit and enter in the same week. They have been in the top 20 continuously since May.
We go back to 2005 for our retro chart this week. Audioslave was wrapping up a healthy stay at #1. September 2005 was a really rough month for me, and Green Day's song couldn;t have been more appropriate. Josh Gracin has had four #1s on my chart, more so than any country act. He is also the only male artist to have an album yield three #1s on my chart (Only Lady Gaga's debut album and the Austin Powers soundtrack have matched this. Adele surpassed this accomplishment with 6 #1s) and would hit #1 the following week. The week after that would be the only time one American Idol act replaced another at #1.

Nice to see "Uma Thurman" atop and the Top 3 as well. I need to check that remix of "Blue Skies", good jump of "Dreams" and great debuts of "Eyes Shut" and "On My Mind" on your chart.
Side note: Why is "Ex's and Oh's" bolded? Isn't the bold thing for songs that climb or is this an exception for being the current track with most weeks atop?
