"Firestone" keeps chugging along! Glad you debuted Annie/Hozier medley. "Beggin For Thread" is really working for its peaks - but I'll take it! Get it "Show Me Love" and I love the debut for "Our Own House".
2004's top 5 is without flaw!

Chart notes: - I had to look up if I ever had a top ten with three women over 40 in it. And I have, kind of. In 2012, it was Madonna, Bonnie Raitt, and Whitney Houston, who would have been 48. Bonnie Raitt is the oldest woman to chart on my list, and the oldest woman to have a #1. In 2nd place is my mom
- 1989 becomes Taylor Swift's first album to yield three songs on my chart as Style debuts.
- Wild Child debuts on the strength of a Grace Potter co-lead. Grace has hit the chart 5 times with The Nocturnals, including two #1s - Christmas song "Naughty Naughty CHildren," and with "Stars".
Top five songs this week in 2005. This is an interesting chart! - First of all, Gwen and Kelly both managing to still chart a decade later. Crazy!
- Also, one of the more obscure acts to hit #1 on my chart, and it was a monster - Be Mine by Cecilia - they are a band that played locally in NYC and DC for years, and a friend of mine introduced them to me. They were a family band, and they are the first of only two acts to chart three songs in top 5 at the same time (which happened the week before this one). The other act, incidentally, is Pharrell who charted in August of 2013 being featured on Blurred Lines and Get Lucky, along with Happy. I was really early on the Happy train.
- And look, there is a song about SNL! Happy 40th anniversary, SNL!

The Truffle Butter slayage. :'( It will slay my chart, too, once I chart it. Giving "Feeling Myself" time to shine first.

In 2nd place is my mom Really? You're just going to leave this here and not explain? I was 10 years old when I charted her. She gave me a recording of herself singing "New York, New York" (That's where she is from.) for the holidays that she made at one of those mall recording studios. Do they still have those? She's a one hit wonder on my chart. At that age, I also charted myself. :kii:

Cool. And you had a personal chart when you were 10? Wow. I started at 13-almost-14

Yeah, it wasn't very well-maintained until I was more around 12. I have a lot of weeks that I didn't do a chart. It was more influenced by whatever my older sister was listening to.

Before I got into mainstream music in late 2012, I made an annual chart every April starting in 2009 to 2012 of my Top 100 favorite oldies and classic songs. 2009 - 2010, Tusk by Fleetwood Mac reigned the chart. 2011, Bad to the Bone by the Destroyers dominated. And in 2012, Smoke on the Water by Deep Purple dominated the list.
Answering and contributing to the previous posts here, I started making charts at age 15.

Chart notes: - Starting to get some gridlock in the top half of the chart so I'm not sure how everything is going to shake out.
- Eres Mi Verdad marks Shakira's 10th appearance on the chart, and 2nd as a featured artist (Beautiful Liar beign the other time.). THis is Shakira's 2nd time appearing with a Spanish song - "La Tortura" was the first.
- Looks like Uptown Funk would have finished 7th for 2014 if we could count the points from 2015.
Top five songs this week in 2006. I don't know what kind of white boy sausagefest is going on here, but I was a fairly new dad, and You're Beautiful was resonating with me at the time. Dare was one of the top songs of 2006, but the Gorillaz would have only one other song to hit the chart - 2010's "Stylo."

for popstop: Chart notes: - Yesterday was the official 50th anniversary of the Sound of Music, which I love, but decided not to post Lady Gaga's medley since it wasn't really released anywhere. At least you can get the parts of Hozier/Annie's medley. Sorry, Josh! :(
- Nicki equals her best effort on the chart by spending a 4th week at #1, matching Bang Bang's performance. It also becomes Lil Wayne's longest stay at #1.
- It is a somewhat quiet week, as only one song moves up more than 2 spots. Congrats, Ellie! There are three debuts though! lbr, Towards the Sun has everything over 45S.
Top 5 songs this week in 2007: LDN was Lily's only #1 on the chart for a long time (until early last year when she had TWO #1s), and it is her biggest success. It was the #2 song for 2007, trailing only Rehab. Ruby would move to #1 the following week. This was Kenny Chesney's only appearance on my chart until "Wild Child" currently charting, debuted a couple weeks ago.
