With One Dance at 49k, Panda at 45k, and CSTF at 44k, Panda might be able to steal a 3rd #1 week before CSTF can get multiple weeks. This might only have a slim possibility on like the 7/2 chart. If not, One Dance might only get what would be if this happens a 5 week #1 run, it's slowing down a little. I don't know. Between the upcoming One Dance video and remix with Bieber, there's little chance Drake is giving Panda a shot at returning to the top. CSTF maybe eventually, but Panda seems highly unlikely to me. Drake's team is not only playing their cards right with this song, they are also making up for lost weeks at #1 by trying to make this thing stay on top for awhile. I predicted One Dance as song of the summer after first hearing it, and I think it may end up being an accurate prediction.

The next #1 might even be Drake himself. Too Good is doing incredibly well on Spotify already.

Has the Song of the Summer chart came out yet? It starts with the current chart week that ends today. Should be updated on Tuesday. Included chart dates are 6/18 through 9/17 this year. www.billboard.com/charts/summer-songs

I ask because A) I was, and B) childish name calling like "fetty crap" and "beat up b**ch" rihanna don't sound like they would come from the mouth of someone in their 30s or 40s, let alone someone who implies they have superior taste in music. Also, define "real" when it comes to pop music. I'm half intrigued.

I loooooove listening to people complain about things, it's super fun for everyone and I'm always glad when people take time out of their day to make sure everyone else knows what they hate.
Regarding future #1s, I think "Too Good" is definitely a contender. The only thing I can see stopping it is that we are already at peak Drake and Rihanna saturation based on all their current singles, and I don't know if there is a promo plan for it in play. Those 2 have certainly emerged as the music megastars of their generation.

Let's get back to real pop music The Rihanna comment was uncalled for and Ariana clearly explained her comments about the U.S. Can you give examples of what you consider real pop music and how Ariana and Rihanna (currently, This Is What You Came For) don't fit the criteria of real pop music? Have you even heard Into You?

I see TIWYCF being the next #1 tbh.
Too Good is basically just waiting patiently to get an official release so it can zoom to #1. It might not even need a video.

Too Good is a contender for sure, single or not. I just remember the days when the Hot 100 was strict and very by the numbers... now it's anything goes (well almost, there are still rules). It's nice because we the people have a bigger voice than ever now, not only with the inclusion of streaming but with choosing which tracks we like and making them hits all on our own - singles or not. As a long time H100 watcher, it is a lot messier now... but I think it's a good, manageable mess.

By "good" music, you mean the music you grew up with... this can easily be explained by the effect nostalgic feelings can have on your brain and the chemicals released upon encountering them and the longing you feel for your years of youth. Now... let's discuss the childish insults. Clearly you aren't pleased with the output of today's biggest stars, but news flash: times change, and it will continue to do so long after we are all gone. Resorting to petty digs will do nothing to change anything, but I recommend listening to retro stations or something. The "beat up bitch Rihanna" comment was the most troubling thing I've seen here. In what world is making a mockery of domestic abuse acceptable? Certainly not this one. Anyways, I suggest you find a new line of thinking before trying that tired shit again.

So... After a solid year of being pummeled by Drake and Rihanna hits, the only real contenders for #1 are 2 more Rihanna songs, another Drake song, and another duet between the two. Oh yeah, forgot about the current Drake song at the top not leaving anytime soon.
Seriously, America, let these two go already. We're sick of them.

It's nothing new in America. 2014/2015 had Taylor Swift, 2010-2012 had Katy Perry, 2009 had the Black Eyed Peas, 2004 had Usher, 2002 had Nelly, 2000 had Santana of all people. The list goes on.

Calling someone old is also offensive. I know many people whose children listen and have 80s and 90s music in their iTunes library. I do have over 35000 songs in my library of all genres of music. Maybe I was wrong with the Rihanna comment but I do standby my tastes in music. I listen to about 10% of today's pop because it does not relate to me. I tend to have country bro music on in my car and home. Some may call that middle age man music , I call it better than what the other choices are. I do hope JT can finally knock Drake out of that top spot for the summer. I would rather have five Pink and Justin songs in the top 20 than any artist managing to do so now.

Only when the original post is dripping with assholery. Also, you just shit on modern pop but think modern bro country, the one genre that is nearly universally panned by all but Midwest women 12-49, is good. That's... that's something. Like what you and have your own opinions, but that's just... yikes. Also, don't go getting mad at other people when you make terrible remarks yourself. You are no saint.
