Beat me to it! lol! But great choice!
Here is the song for those who haven't heard it.
Fun fact. When Scotty left Mercury he bought a couple of his songs back. One was 5MM, the other was this.

Great choice! Honestly, every song on Seasons Change is pretty radio-friendly and could become a sizable hit. I would have had a hard time choosing between this, "Boys From Back Home" and "Wherever You Are."
Unrelated note: I always forget how young Scotty is; only 25! He just seems older to me because he's been releasing country singles for about eight years now. I hope he can become a consistent hit-maker because I love his voice, especially on his more mature songs.

I'm hoping this song can hit #1 by Fall, about 7 or 8 months. That's a fair guess. I'd love to see one more single from the album before all is said and done. It's built for radio. My final 2 wishes was "In Between" and "Boys from Back Home."

Oh wow, he's 3 for 3 off this album for me. I think this song sounds like another slam dunk for him and it would've been my first choice off the remaining tracks on Season Change. The chorus to this is such an earworm and melodically pleasing. It manages to feel a touch throwback but still modern and fresh, and I'm glad we're getting something with more tempo following the two ballads (which was the natural direction to go in, of course). Love this and can't wait to hear it on the radio and am excited to see him possibly get yet another #1 off this record.

I would've preferred "Boys From Back Home", or "Home In My Mind", honestly. Don't mind this one, though. Still like it.

This is really good! Simple enough to be an instant sing-along but it also feels like something that could have been on the radio 10-15 years ago. I hope with his momentum this can be a hit.

This is pretty catchy, should be another song radio will love to play. Good choice even though I was hoping for "Home On My Mind".

I don’t teally follow the country Industry but I’ve always taken interest in everyone who comes from idol regardless of what genre they end up in.
I’m curious, does Scotty attend country award shows? Has he ever gotten any good performance gigs? He’s been collecting hits for a few years now but I feel like he doesn’t get the buzz other artists get

Love, love, love this. These singles are WAY more suited to Scotty than what they were trying to push and release on the other label.
This is up there with 5MM for me.

Without a doubt 5MM and In Between are two of my favorites from the album. The interesting thing is both this song and 5MM were available for the other label to release as the lead single for his 3rd album, but they decided on Southern Belle. Can't say enough how happy I am that he is with Triple Tigers!

Kelsea Ballerini's "In Between" is very similar, and a little stronger IMO - but this will resonate well and should be a third big hit for him in a row. I like it.

I updated the OP. :)
The melody and structure sounds like something from the mid-to-late 2000's and considering the writers (Frank Rogers, Jessi Alexander, Jonathan Singleton), I'm not surprised. I don't think this one is quite as good as "This Is It" but it's tempo will be good for the summer.

Will the throwback sound on this one hamper it, or is this just Scotty’s sound? It seems 5MM was pretty throwback sounding too. I’m just wondering, that’s sort of the critique I’m seeing and hearing. Personally, that’s what I like MOST about it.

Personally, that’s what I like MOST about it. His entire new album is throwback. He grew up listening to 80s and 90s Country and that definately reflects in his writing since he has the freedom to do it his own way now.

I figured that, but don’t really know enough about him to say it with any certainty, thanks. It sounds like future work might be similar. That would be great.

Sonically, the beginning of this song sounds like something from Kip Moore’s Up All Night album, which is definitely a good thing. He’s on fire lately, and I can easily see this being his third #1 in a row. Universal completely mismanaged this guy.

After following him since AI when he was a wee lad, I’m happy to see him finally have some consistent radio success. He’s worked hard and deserves every bit of it!

Feel like the majority opinion is that he’s changed his sound a lot from his first album. I don’t really see much of a difference in any of his songs, production wise.

Very solid add day for In Between. Looking forward to watching this one climb the charts.

For me it’s a difference in maturity of the song material. I hated the idea of him as any kind of heart throb which is how they were trying to market him. I feel like this work fits him better from what I’ve seen of him.

While I did notice the maturity and shift in topics after he signed with Triple Tigers, even "Five More Minutes" and "This Is It" did nothing for me whatsoever. But this is the first single of his that's actually grabbed me. It's kinda similar to "Burning Man", but there are lots of other songs that cover that same ground. Has a good late 90s vibe to it.

Did Scotty go to the ACM awards? I was hoping to see him there after his two big #1 hits in the past year.

I like the song but to me it doesn’t have the “bite” of his last two singles. It feels just kinda there. Radio should love it though.

Been a fan since Idol, so happy for his second run of success!
I know it's just a song, but the "I ain't ready for a ring on my hand" line is kind of a needle scratch, even though I know the album came out before he got married (lol, glad to see in my long hiatus from chart watching that the charts remain slow).
