That's kind of the whole point of the re-recordings. She wants to make sure people who like the originals will like the new versions. They're purposely similar to encourage people to listen to the newer versions, which leads to the older versions losing value.

Morgan Wallen released an apology earlier this week. There hasnt been much backlash unlike other celebrity apologies. Obviously he isnt immediately forgiven but hopefully he stays true to his word in stepping from the spotlight and bettering himself, and at least he fully accepts the responsibility and doesnt want to be defended.

Again, it remains to be seen if he's sincere and actually changes but I do hope that he can.

Lil Tjay ('Mood Swings', 'Pop Out') and 6LACK's "Callin My Phone" is already at #9 on AM :o (and it's been like 6 hours~)

A snippet of it has been teased for quite a while with great fan response to it's nice to see it do well right out of the gate (as opposed to Lil Tjay's slow burner hits). Also #77 on iTunes US (while being #30 in Canada, #26 in Australia and #28 in the UK) so the fans are really showing out lol.

A nice recovery from that Justin Bieber single that he was clowned for a few months ago

I would have to consider 34+35 as the favorite to be #1 for the next 2 weeks with the promo this week, as well as the Deluxe album next week.

I know it’s only been ~8 hours, but yikes, Dua’s new song isn’t doing all that well. #55 on iTunes, #772 on AM. Maybe things will improve by the end of the day, but as of now, this isn’t a good sign.

Not surprising to me. I like the song but many people don't and it doesn't sound like a smash hit.

It’s interesting how even after all her success in the last year Dua still doesn’t appear to have the kind of established fanbase to guarantee massive debuts numbers. Maybe it’ll help in this case though, if people start to discover this song as they get tired of Levitating.

Rose is saying why would Spotify comment under Rap account that Taylor is dropping an album. That is not the audience that listens to her (so most won't care).

well she has one solo t5 in the us, which peaked outside t3 in sales/streams, from an album outside the t3.

i would think europe numbers would be better.
