It looks like telepatia may have already peaked. (If not, it is very close.) Blinding Lights moved back ahead of it today. Also, Butter got passed on radio by I Hope. That’s insane (shows how Butter is barely one of the 100 biggest songs in America), but I didn’t realize I Hope was getting tons of recurrent spins- is it getting more from pop or country at this point? |

I will answer even tho you will start screaming CHART MANIPULATION again. Every person is screened. They don't fund people who made their accounts in like last few months. They check their tweets/who they follow to know if they are not pretending to be army which happaned many times with western stans cosplaying as an army to get money. If someone manage to get money and not buy the song, they report them to paypal and ask for the refund. Also some of you really spend your day spying on army twitter looking for someting to give you likes here. If that's not obsession, I don't know what is. And then you get mad that the whole thread is about BTS. Make up your mind. |

It's one thing to raise funds so fans who don't have as much money can get BTS's singles, albums, and even tickets to their concerts. I find that really cool. But encouraging them to buy 24 copies of a single is a bit much.

Before someone defends these accounts because they're legal so anything legal is "obviously good"...why are there accounts in the first place? What could be the reason to set up accounts to fund other accounts if not to game and cheat the charts.
You can say "supporting" the artist all you want, as if BTS need even more supporting. BTS are still individually millionaires whether or not Butter spends even one week at number one. This is clearly for chart games at this point and don't delude yourself into saying otherwise.

Looking back at all of this, I have to say that the removal of UGC is largely contributing to this. Look throughout the Hot 100, and you’ll see songs that are deficient in at least 2 metrics. It’s not just Butter, but you’ve got songs like Almost Maybes, One Too Many, and several others, which do not feel representative of the 100 biggest songs in America. We never really had this problem when UGC was counted on the Hot 100. |

I’m thinking “Levitating” has a pretty clear path to the all-time most weeks in the top 10 list, no? I think it’s at like 25 and it’s #1 on radio with no clear challenger in the next couple weeks. Plus streaming and sales are still solid. Should be able to clear 32 weeks I think? I'd say it has a strong chance of clearing 32 weeks, but of course it's nowhere near breaking the Weeknd's record for the all-time most weeks in the top 10. If it goes beyond 32 weeks, it will hold the record for most weeks for a non-#1 song (currently held by LeAnn Rimes' How Do I Live, also a #2-peaking song). Possibly, it just might have a chance of beating 39 weeks to hold the runner-up all-time record currently held by Circles, but even that I see being very difficult. |

I know all the focus of the #1 drama has Good 4 U at the forefront of conversation behind Butter, but can we talk about how Deja Vu is just kind of quietly smashing right behind it? Like, I wasn’t expecting to see it at #3 on Spotify but apparently it’s also low key killing it at streaming way more than I thought since Good 4 U is getting all the attention.

Very impressive, specially since it seemed like it was gonna get lost in the shuffle after it's decent top 10 debut (and radio almost abandoned around top 20 on CHR at one point). |

The same thing kpop fandoms do every year to stop BTS from winning top social artist on BBMA. The kpopnification of western stans. Look at this thread and tell me this is normal.
