I don’t know why but I don’t like You Right, it doesn’t sound good and neither Doja or Abel sound good on it.

Not really a fan of the Doja Cat album, "Payday" grew on me and I only liked a few other cuts like "Woman" and "Naked" but the majority falls flat for me (even the Ari/Abel features too).

But Payday is at #671 on iTunes and #105 on AM, so hopefully it grows during the week and lands an entry.
(I like the new Ed Sheeran too)

Butter's physicals are going to ship out during this tracking week now, and that is not good news for Doja or Ed's chances of getting a #1 on this chart, but this may be good news for Olivia, as it does leave the door open for Good 4 u to sneak in a 2nd week at #1 on the 7/3 chart.

I enjoyed my first listen of Bad Habits. Radio should eat it up. I think it is different for him.

It really is just crazy to me how Ed Sheeran has only had two songs hit #1 on the Hot 100, Even though I have been following this chart since 2014 and of course seen all of the songs that have topped the chart, For some reason I can't explain it really just feels like he has had more songs that topped the Hot 100 regardless if that makes any sense.

Thinking Out Loud might feel like a #1 because it got blocked by one of Billboard's all-time greatest songs, in Uptown Funk.

What’s even worse is the song Payday with Young Thug. Who approved the idea that they singing like that was a good idea? Get Into It was also another miss for me. I also felt like she sounded like a mix of Kendrick/Nicki on the rapping part of Woman but it surprising sounded so nice.

Overall it’s an ok project but i’ll only be returning to Kiss Me More, Woman, I Don’t Do Drugs, Love To Dream, You Right and Options. Let’s see if it grows on me though.

I don't know how behind Kworb is with its AM chart, but doesn't look promising for Doja or Ed. Tyler will have the #1 album this week probably.

Kind of shocking that it hasn’t appeared on the ITunes chart, it is definitely I rely a type of song that would. Although it seems to have no traction.

The Miley cover is part of a covers album Metallica put together. There are like 5 covers of every Metallica song and there are some really batshit choices for the covers but all the proceeds are going to charity so I can't be too mad (except Weezer covering Enter Sandman. I thought we all learned never to let Weezer cover anything ever again after Africa)

I think we can go ahead and already rule out a #1 debut for Ed if he is gonna take well over half a day just to make top 100 on Apple Music.

Further proof BTS (4 No. 1s) > Ed Sheeran (2 No. 1s) because only No. 1s matter....

Bad Habits was instant enough for me. Radio will eat it up because it has more of a summer vibe going for it. Not looking forward to fall/winter with dreary Ed ballads tbh.

Currently at 4.6 mil YouTube views (after 14 hours)

#1 on iTunes with an almost 2 to 1 ratio over the #2 song

Only #126 on Apple Music, but up from the 300's since I last checked a couple hours ago (keep in mind pop songs rarely start off huge on AM)

It's definitely getting there!

too early to rule him out. if the Spotify numbers are mediocre then radio won't be enough to save him, but if his YouTube + Spotify numbers are healthy he could very well do it. being slow on Apple Music hasn't stopped pop songs from debuting at #1 before.

It is trending only at number 13 on American YouTube. The YouTube numbers are not impressive either. It will probably open at 2,000,000 plus on Spotify, but it appears to be a possibility that it might crater in the same way as Solar Power. The position on Apple Music is just abysmal, and he has the top banners

The airplay is probably going to have Bruno Mars level payola, so he is going to have a top ten debut unless he underwhelms on Spotify

Unless he has massive streams or sales that can compete with BTS (which is very unlikely considering physicals and the general buying power of that fandom), a #1 debut doesn't really seem plausible tbh.
