Who loves Bohemian Rhapsody that that much… if we’re sick of overplayed songs to death, how are we not sick of that? I have another kinda low rank in but I’m not too surprised on that one as I am to Bohemian Rhapsody. For a few of these songs in the top 20, including Bohemian Rhapsody, I imagine the songs with different lyrics so that the singers are singing about how overplayed the song is. |

20. Queen - Another One Bites The DustSuch an Epic bassline. Queen goes disco and slay it. I'm still pissed at Billboard's stoopid rules. This should have been one of the top 3 songs of that year. 19. Dreams - Fleetwood MacLike it a little more everytime it shows up on one of these Rds. maybe in a few more I'll put it in my top 40? maybe? 18. Paint it, Black - The Rolling StonesVery cool from thier Psychedelic Rock era. Based on past RDs I could have sworn PULSE wasn't too big on The Stones, but I'm not complaining at this great slot. 17. Viva La Vida - ColdplayThis was one of my top 5 Coldplay songs when it was on the radio. Unfortunately it hasn't lived up to great playbcak value on my play lists. Still a great song tho ,but no longer in my Coldplay top 5 nor even Top 10. 16. Dancing Queen - ABBA Thought this one would have ended in my top 10. It's definitely my favorite ABBA that's for sure. 15. In the End - Linkin ParkNot a fan of rap rock. 'nuff said. I'm glad Party Rock Nirvana beat this. 14. Stayin’ Alive - Bee GeesI feel this is the perfect slot for this Disco classic. That opening scene in the movie with John strutting down the street as cool as F U CK is cinema perfection when it comes to overlapping music with strutting. 13. Africa - Toto Classic 80's. It can't touch "Hold The Line" , but classic 80's tune nonetheless. 12. Smells Like Teen Spirit - NirvanaI hate what this song did ,and I hate how it cut short my Glam MEtal teen years, but I like that it is screamy, and is basically still party rock disguised in clothes you wouldn't catch me dead in.  Looks like Three Michael Jackson songs have made the top 10. This is definitely a PULSE rank down. This is as predictable as my top 10 songs in any given Rock RD would be.  11. Stand By Me - Ben E. KingNice song. As fas as classics from this era I would slot about 100 songs over it, but it is a beautiful melody. I never had any doubt Epic Queen would make the top 10 despite the Ray Fosters that are present here. Also I have one top 10 song left. Would anybody like to make a guess as to which one and what # I gave it?  |

I feel they wanted to "Paint It, Black", like the kids in "Africa". My guy. You could have said the rains in Africa. It wouldn’t have made sense, but it would have been better and you know it. |

You know, I’m thinking if you took any combination of songs that made the top 40 and revealed them in any random order, we’d probably have the same type of meltdowns we’ve been getting after each reveal. Not every song can make the top ten. I just find it amusing 🤭

Watching the boomers melt down is really funny lol. As a 16 year old (who I'd say am ranking the """classics""" pretty highly) it's also funny when they blame the "young people" for the low rankings. or maybe its just that not everyone likes the same music as you.

I- this set was hard to see  Dancing Queen and Dreams are both legendary, iconic, beautiful... songs. Both of them make me so happy to hear and have become 2 of my all time favorites. I'll be honest, it's a bit frustrating to see some of the other songs that have beat them but oh well, some people just have weird taste in music :kii: nah but actually it is fine and I guess I'll take them being top 20 at least. Total Eclipse Of The Heart is the only song here that really feels out of place. Also Blinding Lights is good tbf, and it isn't my lowest rank left, but it does feel a bit strange for it to be in the top 10 tbh. 3 6 11 13 14 16 24 28 30 73 |

There’s only one “Eye of the Tiger” that deserved to make this list, and it wasn’t this one. I was never a fan of the Prism era. It feels weird that this is the highest ranking song of hers; higher than anything from Teenage Dream.
