Lil Nas X is so 2018. he had a top 10 as recently as 2021. i don't think any artist can be counted out . both Camila and LNX can do well if the song is good and or if it goes viral. |

Respectfully, I love LNX but going from Drake to LNX for your "lead" single is a bit of a downgrade. Still curious about this era. Chaos can be a fun. |

Just seems like a strange pivot? |

Perhaps they just do not want any controversy associated with her at all even though she had nothing to do with any of what is happening now.

I heard the full version. Much better than I was expecting. The song is a hyperpop song, Lil Nas X part in the song is pretty good. The song sounds radio friendly to me.

This was such a weird sound for her to pick for this project, but at least this shows cohession and it makes sense as a follow up to I Luv It. I think the genre is already overcrowded with far more stablished critical darlings and even they don't do well most times on the big charts.
I genuinely think Lil Nas X bombed his own career and might have just become straight up chart poison. So I don't know about the charts... dude literally got the libs and the republicans mad at the same time and this time no one even hate streamed.
