His numbers must have gotten messed up. Either today the number is too high and wrong, or it's correct and fixing mistake from the past. Because he did not gain nearly that much even including non-panel country stations.

"Blurred Lines" will be #3 on Monday. chartfreak I think it's done this time. :( Maybe if they release the urban remix and urban/rhythmic start to spin that it can repeak. The sales should also pick up. I think "Come & Get It" also peaked at #8 on overall Airplay.

CROSSING “LINES”: Robin Thicke f/Pharrell & T.I. "Blurred Lines" (Star Trak/Interscope) will sell over 400k digital singles this week. As you gleaned from last week’s round-up of digital track sales, only one other song has passed that threshold in a single week so far in 2013, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' "Thrift Shop" (Macklemore), which sold 412k for the week ending 2/17. The Jordan Feldstein-managed Thicke should surpass that feat by about 5-10k and bring his total single sales very close to the 2 million mark. It’s a monster achievement for Iovine and Janick’s revitalized IGA; the team also helped bump up the song’s visibility still further with a sexy Radio Shack/Beats Pill tie-in (in the style of the even steamier video) that aired during game one of the NBA finals. I think "Thrift Shop" is still a near-lock for year-end #1, but "Blurred Lines" is starting to stand a good shot at #2. If this was a "normal" chart year, I would agree 100%. However, the introduction of youtube views on March 2nd, specifically the viewing of user generated clips, gives "Harlem Shake" a big edge in the year-end countdown. The first two weeks it was #1, "Harlem Shake" beat out "Thrift Shop" by a ratio of 3.5x+. Not sure what that means in chart points, but my guess it equates to over 400,000 points. "Blurred Lines" is over 50,000 chart points per week, but even at that pace it would take 8 weeks or more just to beat out "Harlem Shake" first 2 weeks! My guess is "Blurred Lines" will end up at #3 for the year, with "Thrift Shop" and "Harlem Shake" battling it out for #1 and #2.

Plus if they do like 2012 year-end when they didn't include streaming because it wasn't part of the Hot 100 all year, YT won't count and HS will be nowhere to be seen.

I thought streaming was included in the HOT100 year-end countdown for 2012? I know the genre charts did not include streaming since their methodologies changed late in the chart year. Assuming that the youtube streams are included in Harlem Shake's year-end point totals, here is my estimate of the point differential between "Harlem Shake" and "Thrift Shop" for the five weeks in March. I am assuming a formula of 200:1 for on-demand and 400:1 for passive streaming, with sales and airplay remaining the same at 12:1 and 7,500:1 respectively. The results are consistent with the additional information Billboard provided re. point differential, and % drop in points. March 2nd: HS - 280,373, TS - 79,383, Difference - 200,990; March 9th: HS - 272,558, TS - 74,583, Difference - 197,975; March 16th: HS - 157,103, TS - 72,017, Difference - 85,086; March 23rd: HS - 138,120, TS - 68,500, Difference - 69,620; March 30th: HS - 84,961, TS - 66,908, Difference - 18,053. So in the five weeks "Harlem Shake" was #1 it had a 572,000+ point advantage over "Thrift Shop".
