I think this may have hit it's peak but may be too early to tell. Either way I'm pleasantly surprised it did as well as it did with all the negative criticism.

I think it depends on the song and the subject matter. There are sometimes where I think it is absolutely brilliant and other times just annoying. Like you are shoving this message down our throat but why? I think if it could be done without being shoved directly down your throat and makes you think. Then I think it's well worth it and achieves it's goal.
This is one of my favorite under the radar somewhat political song

If Michelle Branch gets off her high horse and realizes her solo career is dead. Then she will get back with Jessica Harp and do The Wreckers again. That would be her only shot at a come back.
I'd love to see Hilary Duff or Ashlee Simpson. I doubt either will happen just something I'd love to see.

I think out of that list non of them are likely to become legends. I'm not hating or anything I just think it's too early to tell what will happen to their careers.
Carrie is very in and current, but I don't think she really does anything memorable. She's good at selling albums but that's about it. I truthfully can only name her angry songs and that's it. I couldn't tell you what she did since Before her cheats part 2 or the prequel. She just has a good voice with no real emotion behind hit. So I honestly don't see why she is as popular as she is. No offense to Carrie fans, I just never felt a real vibe from her. Although I give her credit as she has a lot of doubters from the start and proved them wrong.
Taylor Swift is simply a pop artist. She is as far from country as they get. I don't think she has much of a career after her teen pop phase is done.
The rest i don't really even know much about besides Miranda.
If I had to pick from that batch I would say Miranda has the best chance of maintaining a long term career. She's proven with her latest album she is more than a one trick pony that can only have hits about getting even with your boyfriend. I think her career could continue to grow and she can become an awesome writer.

Does Florida even release his own songs? I always hear him featured in other songs.

Well I'm glad to see this song is getting some airplay. Was a bit slow in getting to where it has. Reminds me of that Shontelle song impossible. That took forever to get somewhere and was her biggest song.
Just saw Fefe In concert and I hope this song does well for her. She deserves a good hit song.

Justin is indeed good but he won't win the category. Being as the grammy voters are different than the people voting in the award shows he does win. IF it was a fan voted category of course he would.
I just don't see the Grammy voters latching on to Justin and taking him seriously. Considering Baby was his only top 10 hit as i recall. I think the others cracked the top 40.
Florence won the big prize at the Brits last year and was well deserved. So i hope Florence get's it in the bag. Although It could go to Mumford.

Jewel got it because the Grammy Committee realized it is an awesome song. People will always complain that their artist doesn't get nominated.
I don't see Jewel winning but I am more than happy for her. Good to see something different in the category that it isn't just the same people again and again.

Jennifer Hudson and Daughtry are fine, my overall point was about winners.
Out of 9 seasons they have had only... Kelly and Carrie holding solid careers.. Jordin has yet to do much with her newest album..
The other winners. Ruben, Fantasia, Taylor Hicks, David Cook and Kris Allen I forgot who sings what they are too similar imo.
It just seems they can't get it right with an actual winner..
Makes me wonder what difference it would have made if say Adam Lambert, or Daughtry had won. Would their careers be on the same path?

Is American Idol really trying another season? J-Lo as a judge for real?. I mean once X Factor hits the states everyone will forget about IDOL.
Least seems that some of the XFactor winners have been able to hold up their careers a bit longer over in the uk. Even though the music scene is a bit different over there.
Just the point Alexandra Burke, Shayne Ward, Leona Lewis, (too early to call on Joe, and Leon has to release another album yet.) Have all had pretty decent careers after winning.

Sadly I think this is done.. It dropped in spins and audience a lot.. Was nice to see at Least one of the songs flirt with the top 30.

I'm just not digging this. Doesn't sound too much different lyrically from what Jackson was doing in the 90's, Heal The World, Man In The mIrror, ect, ect. It might sell alot but I don't see it getting much airplay. Maybe I'm wrong.

I never really cared for this song. I loved the cover by Girls Aloud though. It seemed more fitting but maybe I'm alone on this one.

The problem with the spice girls was they got way too big way too fast. It ended up hurting them a lot.
Another problem was with Geri gone Victoria was getting more and more vocals. Which we all know she was easily the worst singer in the group.
Still while a decent tune to listen to. The spice girls are the kind of group that needs all 5 members. Was going to say needs 5 legs for the table. I just can't picture a 5 legged table. Although if someone knows where I can find one.
Anyway, that aside the group lost it's structure and it was just odd to listen to at that point.

I think the problem is people put their expectations of Christina too high. The album itself if just as good if not better than her other albums.
I think the timing of the record was just awful. When Back to Basics came out Christina was the innovator and really had no major competition. Now you have people who want to compare her to GAGA. Even though Christina could wipe the floor with GAGA in any form of entertainment.
If we were fortunate enough for GAGA to not exist people would have thought this album was brilliant. Now people look at GAGA as the one setting the standard. Maybe that same thing will backfire on GAGA when she takes a few year absence and her return album flops.

I figured out what was familiar about this song: that's the beat to Mambo Number 5, or very close to it. I kind of had more of a SINGLE LADIES vibe when I first heard it. Especially in the very start. I loved this song. I love the Eurovision song contest. Always a fun way to experience new music .

I don't understand if it's +/-10 How some songs jump from 230 up to 260 or if it's 30 it drops to 0. If someone can explain that to me I'd love to know.

Thank you. I am hoping that Jewel rebounds next week. That is an amazing song and at least one song from the album deserves to be a hit. Make it the best one.
I also love that The Script is sitting at top of the chart. So glad to see them finally get a good break stateside.

I had to go with my girl Cheryl on this one. Although I am the reason Ingrid recorded the song in the first place. I really do love Ingrid's version but I connect more with cheryl's version.

Nelly Furtado covering Dolly Parton. I have to say at first that sounds odd. However I was never fond of Dolly doing Gospel in the first place. I however think Nelly could put an interesting spin on it. So that should be fun.

I really just think that some horrible songs were chosen for Loose. Say It Right is an amazing song lyrically. However I felt it was over produced. I just heard nothing but beats.
I've been a fan of Nelly's since she came out. So I was huge fan and was so excited when I AM leaked and Maneater was announced as the first single. Which ended up changing and they released Promiscuous. A good move because it gave her a #1 album and made her huge.
I was not sure how I felt about Afraid. Showtime and Glow seemed like the same song. (even though Showtime was better) Do It should have been replaced with Undercover. I can't recall what Wait for You sounds like without listening to it.
I still bought it and overplayed it. I just got more of a magical feeling out of the B-Sides lol.

Didn't know that The Script were from Britain... The obvious answer is Cheryl Cole. It'll eventually happen. 'Fight For This Love' should have been a big hit here. I thought the Script was from Ireland? Anyway I would agree with Cheryl Cole. I think if she gets both of her albums released here. I could see Fight for This Love and Promise This being Huge. I feel that will happen sooner or later.

Nelly is releasing her Greatest Hits Album. Then in 2011 will follow up with her next English Album.
As far as Loose that was just horrid. She also picked the most forgettable songs to be on the album. Only good ones were Maneater, All Good Things, In Gods Hands.
She released some awesome B-Sides in Europe. Somebody to Love, Let My Hair Down, I AM, Undercover, What I wanted, Runaway.. I think those songs were on some international versions of the album.
First 2 albums were amazing but Loose with the song selection it had was horrid.

I can't understand that either. They would be super huge right now. They can write their own stuff that's a given! However if they get some more writers and release more like Leave the pieces. They could easily steal some of Taylor Swift's audience. So why they broke up and wanted to pursue solo careers I will never know. All is the same they did not have a very good relationship with their fans prior to the demise of the wreckers. If you were a member of the now defunct Wrecker's message board. All the drama you would know what I mean.

Since he has died he has gained tons of new fans. Which sadly often happens to people considered to be musical icons.
Just going to assume the album could open in the 350,000 - 400,000 range.
I personally don't see any of the singles charting too high or getting much airplay.

I'm hoping my local radio station picks up one of her songs. She is doing a concert sponsored by that radio station in decmeber. So I imagine they would start playing her a bit more.
I love the video. I think it's a bit similar to Ghost. However that's not a bad thing. Just a similar theme.
