If a station played all the songs in the Top 50 of Hot AC at higher frequencies with the expense of little to no golds, then would that mean it's a CHR and its data would be included with CHR stations playing rap and harder rock?

Lily Allen. I haven't been that impressed with Leona Lewis or Amy Winehouse.

I do care about Top 40 songs most, but it's always nice to see to see what's up and coming, and even 50 isn't quite enough. :(

I didn't want to like "See You Again" but it was too catchy.
I liked the beginning of "Never Again". I had to refresh my memory of what this song sounded like.

Since AC has been changing more and more into Hot AC with regards to their newly added music, eventually Coldplay will be played. Back in 2003, pop-rock was only beginning to get a hold. "Speed of Sound" wasn't a big enough hit. Once they get their first AC hit, the rest will come.

Keisha Chante had a few good songs, but I was burned out by her single after single release, which were all overplayed.
This song is a pretty good light pop song.

I like this one. I tend to like their songs, though some sound similar, or maybe his voice is just very distinctive.

I haven't heard a lot of these... sampled a few on Youtube. Did Top 20 and the rest that I've heard.
#1 BLEEDING LOVE - Leona Lewis - (Grade: C) A bit dull... it's getting slightly better than at the beginning
#2 SEXY CAN I - Ray J/Yung Berg (Grade: B) Catchy.
#3 LOVE IN THIS CLUB - Usher (Grade: C+) Alright. Disappointing for a lead single from Usher.
#4 NO AIR - Jordin Sparks with Chris Brown (Grade: A-) Nice ballad. I'm getting a little tired of it now.
#5 TAKE A BOW - Rihanna (Grade: A) Good tune, humorous lyrics. Though pretty similar in concept to Madonna's old song.
#6 4 MINUTES - Madonna (Grade C+) Disappointing song from Madonna. Alright, but not very catchy.
#7 LOLLIPOP - Lil Wayne (Grade C) Haven't heard it too many times. Didn't pay much attention to what he was saying.
#8 DAMAGED - Danity Kane (Grade D) Annoying.
#9 LEAVIN' - Jesse McCartney (Grade C-) I've only heard it once or twice but not great.
#10 POCKETFUL OF SUNSHINE - Natasha Bedingfield (Grade B) Liked it a lot when it was first released.
#11 REALIZE - Colbie Caillat (Grade B+) Good song. Could grow on me.
#12 LOVE SONG - Sara Bareilles (Grade A-) Still like it after hearing it a lot.
#13 SEE YOU AGAIN - Miley Cyrus (Grade A-) Guilty pleasure.
#14 STOP AND STARE - OneRepublic (Grade A) One of my favourite songs right now.
#15 SHAKE IT - Metro Station (Grade D) Annoying.
#16 ALL AROUNG ME - Flyleaf (Grade C) I've only it heard it once. Could grow on me.
#17 WHAT YOU GOT - Colby O'Donis f/Akon (Grade B) Quite catchy.
#18 LOW - Flo Rida (Grade B) Catchy.
#19 BYE BYE - Mariah Carey (Grade A-) Nice song from Mariah.
#20 FOREVER - Chris Brown (Grade C)
*******************************************
The ones I've heard...
#23 IN LOVE WITH A GIRL - Gavin DeGraw (Grade B) Not as good as his previous songs.
#24 TOUCH MY BODY - Mariah Carey (Grade B-) Somewhat catchy
#25 BREAK THE ICE - Britney Spears (Grade D) Annoying
#26 SUMMERTIME - New Kids on the Block (Grade C) Surprised this is so high
#28 WHATEVER IT TAKES - Lifehouse (Grade C+) A bit boring
#30 SAY - John Mayer (Grade D) Another weak effort.
#36 IF I NEVER SEE YOUR FACE AGAIN - Maroon 5 with Rihanna (Grade C-) I was expecting much better

I don't find Coldplay songs to be repetitive in terms of melody.
I went with Nickelback.

Vanessa Carlton isn't even in the same category as these others. She has had a monster hit with a few follow-up top 40s. She should be in a poll with others who had a hit but have had difficulty gaining success since. The others here have only had minor hits, with some having had no hits at all.

I never tire of "Unbreak My Heart". I liked "My Heart Will Go On" when it first came out, but I haven't rediscovered my liking for it yet. I do hope to one day.

Lindsay Lohan is a better actress and Hiliary Duff is a better singer, and from at least her earlier roles, probably Lindsay Lohan is more talented in her area of "expertise", so I went with her. But I hope she cleans up her life soon or any talent she might have is worthless.

I think AC stations are playing more and more Hot AC type music both in their currents as can be evidence by the chart (Daughtry, Lifehouse,) as well as in their golds. I hear ballads a lot less often.

I went with Elton John since he has some real classic songs and the album "Songs from West Coast" was excellent.
I would rank Jewel far above Mariah Carey, though all three are good.

Britney Spears showed decent vocals in her earlier albums but the recent ones, while the songs are catchy, just feature her throaty whisper which isn't quite singing. Madonna took some singing lessons while filming for Evita, and while some of her songs are mostly dance beats with electronic voice, she has demonstrated singing on other songs.

Flash, as in the bright light will fizzle quickly.
I'll have to listen to more of her songs to judge. So far, I don't like "Bleeding Heart" but maybe her other songs are better.

I went with Usher. I can't stand the high squeaky voice of Justin Timberlake for more than one song at a time, though I do like individual songs from that album a lot.

I like both, but Alicia Keys has a more powerful, moving and distinctive voice by far.

Maybe this means Celine Dion herself doesn't really care about getting back into the CHR/Pop scene either. Other older artists like Mariah Carey or Madonna seem to want to remain cool or still young in the eyes of the public. I mean, would Celine Dion want to dress in skimpy costumes to promote a song or to shoot a music video at this point if Sony wanted her to? I agree Sony could've done a big push both at CHR and at Hot AC and "Taking Chances" deserved more widespread play, but I think with Celine, it would take a lot more convincing with radio programmers to get her songs on air than with artists like Britney Spears or Mariah Carey who will be naturally in the news and in the spotlight because of who they are. A lot of good singers and artists deserve to have their songs on CHR but bias gets in the way. Maybe for some of them, it doesn't matter as long as they continue making music and/or their fans are happy.

How did Hiliary Duff's two hits do on Hot AC? I wonder if the mom and their daughters effect happened there.
